But generally, Giro indeed is the best GT of year. At least in my opinion.

I said he's more of a puncheur, he can climb a bit too of course
My expectations on a really good day he'll come 3rd here and else between 5th - 10th.
Called it Count
Good stage.
Yeah you did but I maintain that fighting for mountain points took stuff out of him He followed the winning attack for longer than most but dropped off. Still, a promising result from him.

This was the first decent stage. Way to exaggerate
"Decent" Way to talk the stage down, it was really good. |

Depends on the interpretation of decent. Decent could be 8/10 for me you know.

I think along with Battaglin, Timmer, Pozzovivo, Polanc and Thurau had great rides today.

Nice finish, really exciting in the end. Poor Timmer...
Uran not so strong as we thought , though no real changes made. They are all so damn equal to each other .
Only Kiserlovski cracked a bit. |

I don't know dude. Up until today Giro was pretty shit.
You've been watching the wrong race.
Different opinions. For me a weak sprint frield, crashes everyday, bad weather and the hilly/mountain stages so far were boring.

Thought you'd be glad if I didn't... Make up your minds!
He was good, only blew himself up a little. Still very strong, but I hope he doesn't waste too much energy, cause there's a lot to come. |

Wow what a stage. Was rooting for Timmer so hard. Would've been epic to see a member of Kittel's leadout win a mountain stage.
And then that finish. Cataldo and Pantano were absolutely dead on that last straight and along came Battaglin. What a finish!
Quintana and Pozzovivo great, showing some guts. White jersey battle today was great as well, though normally you'd expect Quintana to drop the others in the final week.
And there is a new generation of GT riders stepping up, which is great as well. |

It's really nice that 4 of the top 7 are young riders. Cycling has needed this generation to come through.

@Luigi, in Limburg you have very short and very steep little hills in the woods, so I'm pretty happy . |
