I would like to know what country you are talking about?..........
With this route, Norway barely has one rider who'll be able to do anything |

is it really possible that this sole few hundred meters climb will definitely decide the outcome of the ITT to Cancellara?
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?
If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord will delete my browser history.

It's not even worth discussing the outcome of the TT. Cancellara will win no matter what, even on a bad day.
He's the best on the flat and the best when it's slightly uphill. If there's a really steep part he doesn't lose enough time there.
I think top 3 will be Cancellara, Grabsch and Wiggins. |

The Italian one isn't bad either:
Cunego, Ballan, Pozzato, Garzelli, Basso, Visconti, Paolini, Scarponi - and 1 more spot to be decided between Bruseghin, Santambrogio and Tosatto. |

No, Grabsch is equally good, if not slightly better than him, Cancellara is better in corners though.

Britain, for one (not wishing to slag my own country off too much).
And our best hope being an ex-druggy. Though I'd actually say that Downing has a better chance than Cummings and Millar combined.
but don't slag off cummings - he's one of the good guys

That doesn't really matter. They have a much better chance of getting a result. That's really what matters
To be more serious, I do not really think Netherlands has a really great opurtunity to be better then Norway next Sunday. Indeed Norway got a Hushovd, who is reported in a really good shape(much better then in ToM) and we all know how EBH powns in Britain. I am not sure, but goes Karsten Kroon for the Worlds? He is anyway the greatest hope for the Netherlands.

Norway have 2 great riders, Hushovd and Hagen. Hushovd has no chance on this kind of race, sorry.
Hagen with a little chance, but not much (still have the ENECO hilly stage in my mind)
The Netherlands have Gesink and Kroon, who have PROVED they can handle THIS kind of route, unlike Hushovd and Hagen, and they have some prety nice backup with Boom, Moerenhout, and Hoogerland (and for the last place Langeveld/Tankink or Weening).
Compare that to norway, I'm sorry, but it just doesn't add up, on THIS kind of course, The Dutch team is miles better
Take: 3. 343. (92) [NOR] ARVESEN Kurt Asle SAX 09/02/1975 159
With 159 CQ points, he would not even be in the op 15(!!!!!!!) of Dutch riders.
Except Hagen and Hushovd, they are nowhere near the Dutch riders level.

That's not true, Cancellara is better. https://www.cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/h2h.asp, This doesn't show it too well but Cancellara is way better than Grabsch, also on the flat.
Have you seen any tt's this year btw? Tour de suisse, tour de france, vuelta? |

None of the tours TTs where flat, Monaco had a hill, Annecy had a hill, whihc makes them non-flat. Valencia was flat yes, but not WC distance (50km). Where Grabsch gains major on everybody even Cancellara.

Ofcourse he doesn´t after pointing out that their coach is an idiot for only going with one leader.

Ok, I see that we have different opininon, but I can certain Cancellara is better also in a completely flat time trial without corners or hills. He simply is the best, and has proved it countless of times |

The thing is that we didn't see a lot of flat50kmwithoutanycorner TTs with Cance and Grabsch to judge.

There isn't any form the recent years (this year and last year). Where they both attended.

But we will see in Mendrisio then, or is that little hill in the middle too hard for Grabsch? At least until the first checkpoint will be flat, right? |

It is a 10% hill which quiet obvuisly means it's not all flat, and Grabsch won't be in the lead as the longer the TT gets the better he is.
