Stage 1
We start with sprinters..Manuel Cardoso is here. He has nothing to do in Paris-Nice..so he decided to take Murcia tour.
Bourgas is trying to build up something for Tombak at the left side. Portugal champ. Barbosa (season has started with nice rivality between Palmeiras Reort and Liberty)leading the sprint at the middle.
Then Manuel Cardoso is moving up..Skil rider Veelers follows..
This is gonna be close..
..and season first stage win for Manuel Cardoso.
Happy lead out man I. Nozal..
Again..game crashed when I was scrolling replay..Here is results.

Stage 2
Las Torres de Cotillas - Caravaca
The day I lost everything..
Day started as real nice for us..we had tour leader ..thanks to Cordoso stage 1 win and polka-dot (Carlos Nozal).
Breakaway group..Marlon Pérez, Francisco Pacheco, Gonzalo Rabuñal, Jos Van Emden, Cameron Evans, Markel Irizar.
Then at the climb Francisco Pacheco decided to go alone...
...Liberty as tour leading team ..trying hard to close down that gap between breakaway. Team does not have enough power to achive that alone. Other teams just don't want to help.
Francisco Pacheco..has taken stage win and this can be also tour GC winner finish..he has over 2 min. between other escape group..and over 3min. between peloton.
Peloton arrives 3'38 later...I did not expect at the morning that tour GC winner will be decided today.. There is short TT and one hilly stage to ride..but almost 4 min. is just to much.

Stage 3
Alhama de Murcia - Alhama de Murcia
TT..most important question is how much time main favorites can take back from Francisco Pacheco.
Landis...10th. (+20 sec.)
Tondo...15th. (+32 sec.)
Our hope Guerra..not bad 8th. (+13 sec.)
Menchov..4th. (+ 9 sec.)
Sastre...32. (+47 sec.)
Andy Schleck ...19. (+ 36 sec.)
Isidro Nozal had great TT..he even managed to beat team leader Guerra..7th. (+12 sec.)
Best man today Luis León Sánchez.
Blanco 6th. (+10 sec.)
Manuel Cardoso downfall continues..110. (+1'39)
Race leader Francisco Pacheco...23. (+39 sec.) another great ride. This would be almost impossible task to take 3.30 back tomorrow..that breakaway was tour winning stage.
Tomorrow queen stage and climbing.

Stage 4
an Pedro del Pinatar
2 stages to go with Murcia.
40km. to go...This is the moment? Carcia Acosta with Tondo atacking..Guerra counters.
Tondo and Guerra..they working hard to get away..at the climb.
..but no. Caisse and Euskaltel..will close that gap down...all effort for nothing. And one hilltop to take.
..and Leon Sanchez atack..this is serious..
Pacheco counters with De La Fuente. Race leader showing a fighting spirit.
Euskaltel will close that one down..Same time Blanco atacking. Guerra is in the limit..just trying to keep up with that main group.
...Leon Sanchez counters..he has cought Blanco..
..Andy counters..
..after hill top Andy let for some reason Blanco and Leon Sanchez to go.
Guerra in trouble..hill top is close..come on..a little more...
Leon Sanchez and Blanco are leading..chase group. Guerra is in, tour leader is in.
..at the front Leon Sanchez atacking against Blanco and getting away..

Stage 2
St-Brisson-sur-Loire - La Chapelle St-Ursin
Only stage for sprinters..we have Boonen, Hushovd, Cooke, Breschel, Casper, Vaitkus, Haussler, Bennati..great list.
Crash before the sprint..Arroyo and Aerts are out at the tour...
Caisse sending four guys to help Arroyo..mistake. They all lost 3 min at the end..and still Arroyo won't start tomorrow.
..and spirint..Boom is leading, Cooke is there..Cervelo strong duo, Lorenzetto. Liberty sprinter Pinto follows Boasson Hagen.
Last km..Lorenzetto is leading..Favorites still waiting. Cooke is starting to move up..Pinto just follows and waiting ..nothing more.
..and all out.Cooke is fast, Hushovd coming..Poulhies.
Huhovd takes a stage win..he was clearly fastest man inside last 300..Pinto 8th. Not bad at all in that great startlist. Tomorrow ..hills.

Stage 3
Orval - Vichy
I was mistaken..I thought that today hilly stages will start. But if peloton is not going fast enough..sprinters should take it today.
8 rider breakaway group ..Sébastien Minard, Manuel Quinziato, Ricardo Van der Velde, Mikaël Chérel, Ángel Madrazo...working ok together.
..almost. 5km. to go and breakaway show is over..Now on sprinters...Valverde and Pinto follows Lampre train. Vaitkus is working for Bazayev.. Haussler-Hushovd duo. Boonen follows Cervelo train... Euskaltel Perez- de Larrea.
..and all out.. Vaitkus is doing great work for Muravjev they have advantage...
Valverde is coming ..Pinto follows..
Muravjev still have solid lead..Pinto is trying to pass Valverde. Vaitkus has done he's work..he is slowing down.
Muravjev takes a stage win..Pinto 2nd. ... more than enough.. this was realy strange sprint.

Stage 4
Vichy - Saint Etienne
We have rainy day in France..and we can expect atack's at the last hill..
Lövkvist had a puncture..no problems..he can get easy back to the main group
Breakaway group..Rigoberto Urán, Minard, Dion, Cataldo, Rodrigues., Haussler, Hernandez..strong group.
91 km. to go..strange atack..several GC favorites atacking at the early stage Kirchen, Mazzanti, van Avermat, Kessiakoff..
van Avermaet trying to do it all alone..Mazzanti butting all out to close that gap down.
Haussler and Hernandez atack inside breakaway group...
10km. to go..breakaway guys still hanging on...
Trofimov atack..from main group..
Wegelius, El Fares and Karpets counters...
Plaza and Danielson..race has started..
Lead duo ...last breakaway rider Uran and Trofimov..
Plaza is chasing..I think I know for who belongs that orange shirt..Must be Sami..at least he is descending like stone again..
..and here they are. Trofimov and Uran still at the front..chase group has formed before the sprint..Plaza, Samuel Sanchez, Ivanov, Voecler, Voigt,Kessiakoff
..and sprint..Trofimov passes easy already exausted Uran...
Stage win..and tour leader jersey for Trofimov..For us everything has started very well. Pinto has been at the top places in sprints..and Plaza is now GC 4th (hard to keep it this way)..

Stage 5
Annonnay - Vallon Pont d'Arc
Another day in France..hilly stage on program today. Tomorrow we will have a queen stage with Montagne de Lure.
Strong sidewind has caused the split..Plaza has been ready for that in front group. Ni problem after few km. group comes back together.
Miller crashes..he is ok to continue..
In breakaway Albasini collecting mountain top points.. Broco is in that group with same plan. But he has not enough power against Albasini and other guys. He is in trouble.
120 km. to go..Brandt and Nuyens atacking..
104km. to go..Voigt and Perez..
Barredo, Mazzanti counters. That is early..Peloton increases the speed..everything is still under control..
41km. to go..all breakaways has closed down for main group. Mollema and Coppel atack..
Moment later Pellizotti , Sanchez and Kessiakoff counters. This is serious.
On descent Sanchez and Kessiakoff getting away..
One of tour favorites Cunego is nervous..he is atacking in descent..
Plaza flat atack..this is time to go..
He caches Mollema and Pellizotti duo..Basso coming at behind.
Moreau atacking ..he has passed Pellizotti group and go's after Sanchez group.
Plaza atacking again..Danielson follows..they have made it. Sanchez, Kessiakoff, Moreau and Cunego group.
Cunego at the front and keep pushing..but he cant prevent Trofimov, Kirchen, Leipheimer to join the group.
..a little behind Ivanov and Valverde working together and butting all out..to get into the lead group. They missed atack wave..
..and sprint..yesterday stage winner Trofimov at the front..Plaza is tryng to follow.
..and Trofimov it is..again two in the row. Plaza is now GC 3rd. (I believe this is the max. and still think that top 10 is more then enough. But we will try to defend it for shure.) Tomorrow is most important day.
