As far as Im aware, there is a limit on activations per computer, not installations. |

It's limited per the computer... I have reinstalled PCM 08 countless times on my computer with just one activation code.
Some people managed to deactivate the game after each uninstall and then activate with a new code when they installed it again.

Which is what seems logical. However, when uinstalling, make sure to click 'Cancel' when asked about deactivation of the key. The game will still uninstall, but you won't use up an activation when you install the game again. |

Now, all they need to do is provide some download links. |

Yeah, quite annoying that it isn't possible to download the game before release. Like last year.
Bad for people with slow internet speeds... |

Will they die if they play a game few hours later? I mean, if game will be available 4 hour pre-release I think it should be downloaded until tommorow morning.
I just hope the game will be playable without constant crashes and crazy bugs, without first patch. |

and that's exactly why we should be allowed to predownload the game..
If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell.

Could it be that they are worried about someone downloading the game, cracking it and posting it for download on torrent sites? It is the only thing I can think of.
If they release the download at midnight the servers will be overloaded, but do they really care? They have your money and that is all that matters. If anything I wouldn't be surprised to see the download link sent out a few hours before midnight as that would maybe allow some people to download it before the activation code arrives while not giving adequate time for people to crack it. |
