The stage Saint-Gaudens to Tarbes has the climbs too early, if that finished on the second mountain it would be a great final for the stage |

On the top of the Tourmalet?
Where the top looks something like this

I guess the stage could end at La Mongie as it has in the past

There's no room for a stage finish at the top of the Tourmalet. The only possibility would be a finish (as has happened before) at the La Mongie ski station midway on one side.
Or better yet, as many fans have suggested over the years, climb one side to the top, then descend to finish at La Mongie on the other side.

Room, there's none of it.
You need, Media, Anti-Doping, Podiums.
There whole tour cavalcade is HUGE. It's difficult to fit in many places.

That would be a perfectly legitimate question....if I hadn't already told you the reason why

Isso you said this tour avoids Contadors weakness but the stage to verbier looks pretty similar to the one he cracked on in Paris-Nice

Come on andy schleck please beat the astanas. My heads says contador though but andy had a really good liege so he will give him a good run.
When journalists at the Tour de France ask me if I am the best sprinter, I answer 'Yes', and that's seen as arrogance, but if they don't ask me, I don't say I'm the best sprinter in the world.

Not many of you like astana(okey only Biathlon) but it seems like the captain situation for the Tour has been taken care of.
Contador is ofc the captain, with Levi as number 2 and Armstrong number 3, but Bruyneel still belives Armstrong will be up there fighting for the win in Paris.
And as main contenders outside their 3 he names reigning champion Carlos Sastre, Andy Schleck and Cadel Evans
Edit:
And like it was discussed in the Tour de Suisse 2009 thread, the last spot in the Tour de France squad for Saxo Bank is going to Breschel or Arvesen like Breschel told Danish TV2

And I'm Proud of it! Conta will win so easy if everything goes the way it should. Lance top 5!
Riis have to pick Arvesen.. I am sure he will!

I don't believe for a second that Lance is 3rd captain. Come on .. why would Levi be above Lance, seeing how the Giro evolved? |

Lance was better than Levi in the Giro, so why Levi 2nd. No sense. |
