A really great for the team, 5 stage win and two jerseys isn't a bad way to start the season. After the win our sponsers came to my congratulated me with the victories, and asked me. "next win in Qatar right?" I looked at them and nodded.
Another promise made by me
Right before I left I noted down three names. Konovalovas, Gustov and Marchante... |

Summery of January
With our very first win, the team is very optimistic for the future races.
5 stage wins and two jerseys were what we accomblished in Tachira.
We got refused at the Cancer Council Classic, but we were not that sad because of it.
Biggest surprise was the winner of Tour Down Under: Sebastian Lang
Rider of the month was Stuart O'Grady
results:
Races of February:
Tour of Qatar (6 stages)
Le Tour de Langkawi (7 stages)
Giro della Provincia di Grosseto (3 stages)
Amgen Tour of California (9 stages)
Trofeo de Laiguiglia
Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
Beverbeek Classic |

no, take the same guys from your team to the giro as IRL.
But change out Hunt or someone against Hushovd then you have Sastre for GC and Hushovd for stages wins and Gerrans for some breakaways |

Tour of Qatar
stage 2
A flat stages, made for the sprinters
Todays breakaway, not much else to report.
The Peleton torn apart because of the wind.
Sieberg takes the win. hushovd got a bad position because of the wind,
he gets a 7th place
New rider in yellow: M. Sieberg
With only 4 stages left it will be hard to win three of them, even though Hushovd is the statistic best sprinter and rider in the peleton.
Sorry no results, screwed up |
