Hi,
I'm also at the World Chamionship of 2011 and I tried to get my savegame working with the Hannes Editor. I changed everything as it's being told but when I saved it and go back into the game, I can't choose my savegame. Although it's in the folder it ain't in the game. Could someone please help me? I don't know what I'm doing wrong

My save is going to crash in the WC in 2010 (Daily's db v3.2).
It seems to be the same problem as in v2.1.
Do I change it the same way or can someone take a look at it? (I'm currently in May 2010)

And one more thing:
In STA_stage table:
Copy values from rows of stages with ID 2051 and 1980 from db-file (OfficialRelease.cdb ) and paste them into the same rows in STA_stage in your savegame.
You need to edit the whole row, not just columns which are on this screenshot. |

Thanks but You can do this for me? They not OfficialRelease.cdb and I will not let me open the game that I've spent with Hannes, I get stuck the program

I got problem getting past Stage 12 at Vuelta 2011. It crashes everytime i try to play it or sim it. Would appreciate some help getting past this one! Also i will have crash in 2011 World Championships aswell(like the others) hopefully someone could fix it aswell with the Vuelta bug! Thanks beforehand.

Hello?
I tried to do what I dijistes and still gives me the error, the item you want me dejastes is impossible to open with Hannes, I try to change those columns so the cast but nothing OfficalRelease.cdb.
You could help me, I was running around this year and I can not continue.
PS: If you start another season, I joderia by equipazo I have, as I make sure that this does not pass me again, I will not be playing for 3 years restart forever. |

I had the WC 2011 crash.
Thanks to the explanations above, I’ve been able to fix it myself.

A few words for the one’s still struggling :
I used Hannes converter to mod my savegame, not Hannes editor.
Hannes converter 2008 for PCM 08 (which I downloaded here in the download section) works the same as Hannes converter 2007 (for PCM 2007). I guess there should be a whole lot of comments on how to use it by now.
For the corrected vaules to be copied in the savegame, I openend PCM dailly2009 DBV2
.cdb, because I was not looking in the right place :
The official release cdb is not in the same folder as your savegame, in “my documents”, it’s in the program files somewhere. (in my pc, program files/cyanide/pro cycling manager – season 2008/database)
Copying of a whole row doesn’t work, you have to copy each value individually (which I did in an excel sheet)
Saving back after your mod is the trickiest part of using Hannes onvertor.
My advise is, try to save one modified value, then close and reopen, and if the value is still modified, the you’re doing OK, and you can alter the rest of the 2 rows.
Obviously, I copied something wrong, because now the WC are indicated in Spain (wrong country code somewhere ?)
But I believe the game won’t crash . I ‘ve had other db’s where the country code was wrong, and it didn’t stop the game.
By the way, I ‘ve the same problem with TTT, none seems to be playable, but I can sim trhough.
As I don’t like to play them in the first place, I don’t consider this really a nuisance.
For that matter, itt’s might be unplayable too, I didn’t try any yet. |

I just start a carrer with this db v2.1, and at all i dont have any crash. I have one question, if the game crash and the save repared can i continue my carrer??
