As for our schedule, indeed after Balkans Formolo only has Lombardia left. Champoussin is also in Lombardia but only in one of the PTHC hilly classics while Kron&Gerts are leading the team in the other one iirc.
Sorry I missed being an active part of discussing this one, especially to Ulrich who delivered great reports of an active and entertaining race as ever!
Obviously that cobbled stage hurt with the group of top guys that got away, but agree with others that that is no fault of the new route which was fantastic and I feel like could also open that option to puncheurs, or result in races suiting the Pidcocks and Küngs of the world where it stays more together.
Solid enough effort from Pidcock, would have loved more stage success (would have gone with a better GC obviously ) but still very happy with the Top 5 and the green jersey. The white jersey... another delicious chapter in this awesome rivalry Pidcock and Vansevenant have developed, have to say I laughed when I read that development on the final day, just perfect. Long may it continue as long as it's near the front with both doing so well this season at maxed. Congrats on the last day heroics roturn
