Kubica was actually likely to go on and win it too. |

This is ridiculous - Vettel has been penalised with a 10 place demotion for the Malaysia qualifying and fined for the collision with Kubica, even though it was near enough 50/50. That's so harsh.
Penalties, penalties, penalties
EDIT: Actually, I think this was for trying to continue with 'substantial' damage rather than for the collision itself.

It wasn't near 50/50 , Kubica left Vettel enough room but Vettel didin't use it. |

I would have said it was close to 50/50, because Kubica was not leaving all that much room, but Vettel was probably more to blame of the two. Anyway, the penalty doesn't seem to be about that. |

Yeah i think it was, you aren't allowed to just keep your position behind the safety car until the end of the race if your car is crippled.

What a race! If it continues like this (although it's unlikely), I think we're up for a historic season.
... and I feel sorry for Trulli. Up from 20th to 3rd - and then a penalty. Such a shame. |

It was absolutely near 50/50. Kubica could have easily gone more to the left than he did and then avoid the collision. Vettel didn't have the grip to turn more.

That makes a total of 1 races I've ever watched on BBC. And that number won't increase....ever.
Dear god they're idiots. can't understand half of what's happening. A nine year old wouldn't say half the stupid things they say with conviction...
And as you'd expect, when a british driver is fast, it's his talent. When someone else is fast, it's the car. Biased jackasses.
Back to Speed TV it is, then...
Anyway, nice race
Everyone was all over the place, and the only guy who didn't make any stupid mistakes won. Vettel's mistake, especially...what the hell was he thinking?? Meh, at least he did man up and admitted it was his fault.
Looking forward to Malaysia next week. Not that I'll see it live, mind. I'm not missing the Tour of Flanders |

Vettel could have avoided the incident by simply braking , but he wanted to fight for the position and in that i can't blame him. But he still caused the accident. |

I'm not totally sure if you can view this outside the UK, but there's interesting on-board footage from Vettel's car on the BBC highlights.
link - https://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motor...970488.stm
Just click the video at the top and move to about 5 minutes along for the incident. Afterwards you will see the on-board footage.
The BBC commentary was actually pretty bad I know, and really terrible for qualifying - even James Allen did a better job than Jonathan Legard probably! Mind you, I think Brundle's actually a very good co-commentator.

Vettel has got a penalty so why hasnt barrichello for causing the 1st corner incindent on lap 1, the race stewards have had an waful weekend, embarrising for them, especially with all the messing around with the first safety car aswell. |

Vettel's penalty was for trying to continue with heavy damage to his car wasn't it?
And Vettel did pretty much admit the crash was his fault, he was apologising to his team on the radio after.

Also, I think it was a Mclaren (probably Kovalainen) who pushed Barrichello from behind into the collision. |

Maybe my memory's playing tricks on me, but I think the replay showed it was Barrichello who started the mess that sent Heidfeld spinning and screwed over Kovalainen and Webber. |

Yep, Barrichello was a real car killer yesterday. It's amazing how he managed to get 2nd. |

the "winners" of this GP are the Toro rosso drivers, i don't think they'll grab another point in this season and i didn't know cars do steroids but barrichello proved me i was wrong by overtaking in the exterior of a curve. |

I think that overtaking from exterior of the curve will become much more common because of the KERS system. |
