This gives Kraftwerk a three pronged challenge, defend yellow, protect Ranaweera's GC and set up Haller for the sprints. Can we do all three? Can't wait to find out!

TvA in the wind too early and paid for it the end. Shame that the team's effort goes to waste but can't win every time. Hopefully we play it smarter in the next three sprint stages. Still two jerseys on our riders' shoulders and Choi getting through safe, so it's not much of a worry.
Congrats to hoekie and thanks for the report

Another no show on stage 6 and then Zariff seemingly in a good position on stage 7 simply didn't have the legs to even finish top 10.
Good first week for us mostly thanks to Groselj and how we somehow keep raking up those secondary bonus points.
Great job on the week 1 reports Fabianski

Juraj Bellan offered our first surprise in America, sneaking inside the Top 10 in the prologue. Predictably Georg Zimmermann struggled on the TT-bike, but he has slowly risen up the ranks since then. He just missed out on following the winning move on stage three and was forced to work in order to limit the damage to CT rival Sepp Kuss. Aside from a handful of scares when the peloton split going through the hilly parcours, Zimmermann has ridden a solid race, going as far as to snag a Top 10 on stage five.
Torjus Sleen, Ingvar Omarsson, and Georgios Kaloniatis have all managed to get some airtime riding in the breakaway. The former duo worked well together on the fifth day, where Sleen was one of the escapees who made it all the way to the finish. Unfortunately he wasn't strong enough at the finish to make the podium, and none of the lads have been consistently aggressive enough to really challenge for the polkadots.
As inconsistent as ever, Alexander Krieger suffered from poor positioning in the first bunched sprint. With him unable to survive the undulating parcours and Daniel Hoelgaard evidently unwilling to go on the attack, we suffered through several disappointing stages. That changed when Krieger timed his sprint only momentarily too late to snag a podium finish on the most recent stage. He has three straight flat days to make his mark before survival mode kicks in.
Overall, slightly disappointing. I had hoped that Hoelgaard might be more willing to attack the hilly stages, but it wasn't to be. One prong of our trident has been blunted. Now we wait to see how much damage Krieger can inflict, if Zimmermann can survive in the high mountains, and which of our lads are willing to spend their days working among the escapees.

Itami tried his best. He made my heart jump there a little but alas, it wasn’t meant to be. Congrats to the winner and thanks Fabi for the report.

8th place and another top 10 for Nizzolo is a good result. Its a hard group of sprinters he is up against. Still, hoping to get a podium or 2 here from him if we can. He has another opportunity tomorrow to try!
Vasyliv still safe at the top order of the GC which is excellent!

Still searching for that podium result from Zariff, but at least he's there trying. A few more chances left to get lucky.
Hard to believe Groselj is still taking those 2nd place KOM points

Leadout not working on the actual flat stages. Not really surprised though as TvA is probably better off surfing wheels. Was nice to have Green for a few stages and he's still very much in contention. Probably best if the team now goes about protecting Choi and let TvA do his own thing with maybe just Stoltz in support for the flats.
Congrats to Assa and thanks for the report Fab

Thankfully I didn't get my hopes up as I know if Bennett is out in front that early he ain't gong to hold on.
It's good that he's competitive but he's obviously not good enough to get the Frame lead-out treatment

Magnificent sprint from Coutinho and nice to grab a stage win. Hoping a couple of more will follow
Magnusson is having a fantastic race so far and has built up a nice lead in the KoM classification. Hope he can keep on attacking and keep the jersey for a bit longer.
Thanks for the excellent reports so far!

Another top 10 for Nizzolo. He is racing quite well here and Vasyliv still comfortable. Good start to the ToA for us. Hopefully we can manage to grab a stage win soon and continue in that GC race

Another underwhelming sprint. I guess Zariff can't quite hack it yet, which isn't a surprise given his stats.

Well at least they learnt how to leadout properly this time
Velasco has been stunning all race, must say. Van Asbroeck went just 50 meters too early but not complaining too much about 2nd place and being back in Green. He also just outscored his points tally from before this race with this result! His return from this race has been much more than what we were expecting already.
Congrats to lief and thanks for the report Fab

We brought Jasper De Buyst to do flat chasing but Marco Haller must have upset his DS who has put him on punishment chasing duty and not provided him with any leadout despite being a favourite.
Keeping the yellow jersey is great but its hurting our points haul from sprints & green jersey.
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the great reports Fab.
