Carrara is our leader here, but it's going to be tough and we are not expecting anything.

Auger started the early attacks.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRAtk.png
Suicide?

After a while a group had been created. They were todays break.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRBreak.png
Todays break.

At the top of Passo di Turchino, the break lead over the peleton with 11 minutes. But with 130 km left of the stage, Rabobank and Quickstep started to chase.

Matteo was having a bad day (-4). With 40 km to go, the break were caught. 7 km after that Flecha and Paolini starts the real attacks!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRAtk1.png
Attack again!

Then Matteo were to tired, so he couldn't try following them. Paolini didn't have the power to hang on with Flecha but O'Grady and Gusev tried to catch Flecha, and they did.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRFlecha.png
The front group.

Their gap grew and after a while it was 1 minute, with 20 km left of the stage, and no one were chasing in the peleton. Petacchi falls! He is out of the game!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRPet.png
Petacchi got a long way back.

Now we can say that the front group will win, their gap is to big. Then Flecha tries an attack, he feels that he can't win the race in a sprint.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRFlecha1.png
Attack by Flecha!

But he don't get a gap. He wont win today, that's for sure. O'Grady is leading out the sprint.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRSprint.png
Time for the sprint.

O'Grady is the best sprinter, but Gusev wont give up.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRSprint1.png
Just 1km left.

But O'Grady is just to good for Gusev. Stuart O'Grady wins Milan San Remo.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/MSRSprint2.png

Bernhard Eisel wins the bunchsprint. Matteo finishes 23th.

Stage 1

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBCT.png

This race is a sponsor goal, they want us to get a stagewin, and it's going to be tough to achieve. One cobbled stage, two sprint stages and one TimeTrial. Many stars are here, for example Boonen, Hincapie, Gilbert, Ballan.

The race started with some attacks and Konovalovas were there to counter. He joined a group of 11 riders, with Franzoi in solo lead.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBC1Break.png
Konovalovas group.

But after some cobble sections the break got mixed and Konovalovas ended up in E5. Cooke and Pliuschin were the first Unibet riders to give up in the pack, and with 30 km to the finishline, Vanspeybrouck, Gardeyn and Casper also fell off the peleton.

Now Coyot were the only Unibet rider in the pack. But they were just 16 riders. Arnaud could now feel the pain in his legs.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBC1Pele.png
Just 16 riders left.

With 14 km left of the stage Leukemans and Flecha attacked.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBC1Leuk.png
Attack!

Flecha and Leukemans didn't get away but it splitted the front group. Flecha, Leukemans, Ballan, Pozzato, Paolini and Gilbert was the first group, while Coyot was in the second group together with Boonen, Van Petegem, Van Impe, Burghardt, Ivanov and Hincapie.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBC1Flecha.png
The front group, and you can see Coyots group also.

Coyots group couldn't catch Flechas group. Time for the sprint!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBC1Sprint.png
1 km to the line!

Philipe Gilbert wins!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/KBC1Sprint2.png

Boonen leads in Coyots group.

Jose Rujano wanted to participate here, he did and his season debut was not so good. But results were not expected here. We sent an unexperienced squad to Spain, and we didn't get any result.

Winner Stage 1: Samuel Sanchez (Euskaltel)
Winner Stage 2: Stefan Schumacher (Gerolsteiner)
Winner Stage 3: Riccardo Riccó (Saunier Duval)
Winner Stage 4: Pietro Caucchioli (Credit Agricole)
Winner Stage 5: Kim Kirchen (T-Mobile)
Winner Stage 6: Bradley McGee (FDJeux)

Fränk Schleck won the race ahead of Stefan Schumacher and Riccardo Ricco.

Ronde van Vlaanderen

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVL.jpg

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVV.png

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVT.png

Today the cobble classics starts and of course it's Ronde van Vlaanderen who is first out. Baden Cooke got injured in March so he is not in great form but he will try to do his best as a team-mate. Arnaud Coyot will be our leader here because of his stats boost, he now got 75 in cobble.

Nothing happened early on. Fred Rodriguez got a flat with 170 km left of the stage.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVFred.png
Fred has a long way back to the pack.

But he got back to the peleton easy. With 134 km to the finish line, our own Alexandre Pliuschin punctures!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVPliusch.png
Alexandre yelling for help.

Also he got back pretty easy. Then it's time for the next rider to have bad luck, Andreas Klier. He falls! Eisel, Greipel and Schreck gets back to him to help him back to the peleton. They succed.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVKlier.png

They gets back and right then it's a split in the pack in front. Franzoi, Ballan, Vaitkus and Kopp gets away!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVBallan.png
A small gap is created.

But they are soon caught. The first real cobblestones is over now with 100 km to go, and it's time for some hills. With 40 km left the peleton is stretched out. But Coyot is feeling good (+3). He is in the front of the peleton.

Attack by Gilbert, Bettini and Flecha!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVBettini.png
Attack!

Coyot decides to not follow. He is having a pretty hard time, they are now around 20 riders in front. Bettini Co. got caught pretty fast. But now it's time for le Muur, and it's an attack by Allessandro Ballan!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVBallan1.png
Attack by the italian.

He gets a gap fast and he is now going to win the race!
Coyot has to give up and he, Boogerd, Hammond and Klier is now in E4. Boonen and Van Petegem is E3, while the other favourites are in E2.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVCoyot.pngi276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVBoonen.pngi276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVFront.png
1. Coyots group. 2. Boonen and Van Petegem 3. The favourites.

In the end Coyot attacks, he wanted to try and see if he can catch Boonen and Van Petegem.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RVVCoyot.png
Attack by Coyot!

But he don't creat a big gap, at the same time Ballan wins the race!

Bettini wins the sprint for 2nd, while Stuart O'Grady takes 3rd.

Coyot wins ahead of Klier in the sprint and he takes a nice 13th.

Gent Wevelgem

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/GW.png

The cobble classics continues with Gent Wevelgem! The sponsor wants us to finish in the top 3, but that is to much. I don't think we can do that.

A crosswind early made the peleton into two parts and we where on the wrong side. The first group were 20 riders big and riders like Van Petegem, Hincapie, Ballan, O'Grady and Cancellara where there.

The gap didn't grew but it held around 1.30 all the time. But the peleton came together at Monteberg the first time and then it split up again at the Kemmelberg. Now Cancellara, Kroon, O'Grady lead with 2.38 over Flecha, Ballan, Franzoi and Freire. They had 30 seconds on the peleton.

1. Cancellara, Kroon and O'Grady. 2. Ballan, Franzoi, Flecha and Freire, with the pack in the background.

After Monteberg and Kemmelberg again the situation was like this:
E1 - Cancellara
E2 - O'Grady + 10
E3 - Kroon + 20
E4 - Flecha and Ballan + 1.11
E5 - Hincapie + 2.50
E6 - Coyot co. + 4.50

Paolini were to strong for Coyots group, so he went away.

After a while Coyot, Vanspeybrouck, Gardeyn and Eichler also decided to leave their group.
