Great performance by Moscon to take 7th in the GC, definitely more than what I would have expected. Balloni and Schmid add valuable points with their stage win and 2nd place, plus some minor points via points and KoM/U25 standings. Good job by those three!
However, I'm still wondering if the Ftr stat is good for anything at all. I mean, I've got a 77Ftr rider who hasn't joined a single breakaway all season long (Lienhard), while Schmid (71Ftr) just doesn't stop joining them. Balloni (72Ftr) and especially Bissegger (64Ftr) and even Rekita (62Ftr) are recedivists as well - but out of my three 77Ftrs (Lienhard, Thièry, Manfredi) only Manfredi has even tried to do something. I guess that stat is just broken and useless then...
@valverde, I can completely get you. And you're even lucky to have sold me Quintana, as now he's pretty useless for me, not for you. Having your most expensive rider doing a s**t job (for apparently not much of a reason) definitely doesn't help motivation.
@red, I can get your point about planning mistakes. Sure, Kinoshita isn't the best rider to send here, but things like this still shouldn't happen.
And if you have a rider who worked like a charm last year and just doesn't do anything this year in partly the same races (Reinhardt), I honestly just feel helpless and don't know what I did the wrong way. Would love to get some advice on my roster and why certain riders just don't do anything useful this year (especially Quintana, Reinhardt, Lienhard).
Sorry for the rant; as I said, more than happy with Moscon's GC and the breakaways, but the rest of the team (looking at you, Pernsteiner and Lienhard) was just useless again.
