Tour of Ireland
Stage 4
Probably this will be the deciding stage of the tour. It's 185 km long and has got two sharp hills at the end.
Ben really needs to show his class today. I was nervous at the start and I was just going to work for Ben today but this stage and race is so important for me and the team.
Me and the rest of the team protecting Ben.
The stage started with many attacks. Finally 10 riders got away from the pack.
Todays break.
I didn't felt to well today, and it was embarrasing because I wanted to give Ben a big helping hand. But my body said NO!
Me drinking water.
With 20 km left of the stage I had to say good bye to my team mates, I was so tired.
Me at the back of the peleton.
On the last hill Ben attacked.
Ben attacking.
No one answered so he had created a pretty big gap when the sprint started.
Sprinting time!
Max Richeze was closing really fast and it looked like he was going to catch Ben.
Richeze just behind Ben.
But Ben gave everything he had, and he won the stage! Amazing.
Ben celebrating his win.
Ben is now 2nd in the GC but it's tight up there.
The morning after Ben was at the front of the magazine, wonderful! I can't believe that I'm a part of this win.

Tour of Ireland
Stage 5
This is going to be my last race for this season, and it's going to be nice with holiday. But of course I will miss the cycling.
Knowing that this was my last race, I gave everything I had. Everything was going fine, we protected Ben, but suddenly a cross wind ruined everything. 19 riders got clear at the end of the race and in the group of 19th, Hagen, Haedo, Dall'Antonia and Vermeltfoort was.
Luckily Ben attacked and catched the group but the riders in front still got their bonus seconds.
Chris Sutton won the stage.
Ben stayed in top 5 and our sponsor goal of a top 10 placing were accomplished.

End of 2008
2008 has been an awesome year. I got my first real contract, and I'm now almost a pro. I'm really looking forward for 2009. Rapha Condor did quite well this year. We got many great results, most of them came from Ben Greenwood, Chris Newton, Dean Downing and Kristian House.
I have now decided that I want to stay with Rapha Condor at least one more year. It's a great team, and I'm enjoying to race for this wonderful teeam. The team has signed 4 riders to the 2009 season, they will be announced at a press conference later.
Let's look at the rankings for 2008.
The young dutchmen Thomas Dekker won the ProTour rankings this year, the Italian Alessandro Ballan finished 2nd while Juan Jose Cobo ended 3rd. Filippo Pozzato had the same score as Cobo.
Team CSC won the team rankings, just ahead of Rabobank while Astana settled for 3rd.
Allan Davis crushed everyone in the Continental Tour rankings, Danilo Di Luca came 2nd and Martijn Maaskant got the 3rd place.
Slipstream won the Continental Tour rankings pretty comfortable, Mitsubishi ended 2nd and will follow Slipstream up to the ProTour.
Teams Promoted:
Team Slipstream
Mitsubishi
Teams Relegated:
Bouygues Télécom
Team Milram
Allan Davis won most in 2008.
Alejandro Valverde won TdF, while Riccardo Ricco won the Giro and David Arroyo won the Vuelta. Danilo Di Luca is the new World Champion.

London
Press Conference
Bradley held the press conference today:
"Good evening ladies and gentlemens." He started.
"Today we, Rapha Condor is holding a press conference to announce our new signings for the new season.
Let's start with a experienced rider, please welcome mr David McCann to Rapha Condor Recycling.co.uk!"
"David is a great rider who will be very useful for the team, he is best at time trialing but is not so bad at riding in the mountains. Hopefully he can learn the young riders much about cycling."
This was great I thought, David can surely learn me much, fantastic. I was so excited about the other signings.
"Now to our second signing of the year, James Jackson!"
"James is a huge talent and he is doing his best in the sprints, but he can also climb pretty well."
That's great, another young talent. Our team is good now, I thought.
"Our next signing is a experienced all-rounder, Evan Oliphant!"
This is too good, we've got an amazing squad now.
The fourth and last signing were the young sprinter, Jonathan Bellis.
After the conference I went to an italian restaurant together with Luke and Matt Rowe.

I remember watching someone from a 1960s tape about woollen mills and someone in charge saying she used to 'learn them kids to talk proper'

2009 - Season 2
It's time for the 2009 season. This year I wan't to improve my cycling much, and hopefully I can take at least a point in the Continental Tour. Maybe a win? Who knows. In the holiday I flied home to Sweden to meet up with my family and friends, it was really fun. I have taken it pretty easy, but I went out with the bike a couple of times in Sweden.
I think that I would not peak for any race this season, hopefully I can be in form to the Swedish Championships in June. Probably Bradley will use me as a team mate in almost every race. But maybe I will get a chance to go with the break or fight for the KOM jersey sometime.
I think that our team for 2009 is really strong. Greenwood, Bellis, McCann, Downing, Newton and Oliphant will probably be our leaders in the most of the races this year. Maybe Graham Briggs too, so we have a really strong squad with lots of talents who will support the leaders. I'm really looking forward to start racing.

Yes maybe, but I saw that he was picking at A_Schleck and his story too.
It's not so funny to read when I'm trying my best. It's not so easy..
