Kohl's unbelievable performance in the TdF, as well as Vandewelle. Im betting in a month Van. will be fired for "unusual blood values".
NO CHANCE. I strongly believe that Vandevelde is innocent. Kohl wouldnt surprise me.

I'm betting he won't.
Also, it's "Vande Velde"

As much as i love Tinkoff (as ya'll know) Kiryienka's Giro performance was also "unbelievable" in regards to him having done nothing previous of any note that i can remember beforehand. Then bang this year out of nowhere a new strain of EPO and a new batch of "great" cyclists. Suspicious? Very.
every year there are batches of "great" cyclists. I think it's just a coincidence. No argument whatsoever on the Tinkoff bit though.

Kiriyienka didn't come out of the blue, but yes, his performance was quite... extra terrestrial
But, the face-looking, well - Landis looked very innocent after he was tested positive, so did Virenque. Bjarne Riis was smiling all over his face in Paris. I find it strange that some almost wants some riders or teams to be doped up. Let's enjoy cycling but of course be suspicious to the Sellas and Riccos and CSF's suddenly riding like hell. |

Sella's positive is great news
I'm usually disappointed by doping positives but (like Ricco) it was just so obvious he wasn't clean. Thank goodness he's gone.

I thought Kohl was clean,I've read interviews with him and besides he was always a natural good climber.
In the second week, before ricco tested positive,The way I saw it, because the majority (or so I thought) of the peleton were clean, that riders such as Kohl were reaping the benefits of drug-free racing. But after the scandals and his performance in the final time trial I'm not so sure.
I hope he's clean.

In a sad way I'm kinda enjoying all the positives, it's about time!
But in another way, it's a shame really. Kinda rules out any new wonderkid appearing. The next time anyone bursts onto the scene and wins by a mile, they'll just be accused of doping (proof or not).
Can you imagine if Merckx was racing today (winning all three jerseys in the TdF) what would people say? |
