Nah, they want to become a continental team, as Smoothie says. They're fed up racing in countries which can't use the Cofidis loans service, and the Pro Tour ain't planning on racing near France anymore. |

It always been a gloom future for Cofidis. Nuyens leaving for Rabobank too. So there not much talent left at Cofidis. |

The pro tour is dead, none of the big teams is riding it, none of the big races is included, and the pro continental teams don't have the money to pay for the PT licens.

how can you say they work when it hasn't even started?
they're still collecting riders' data, and they were supposed to start acting on it in September. Now, who knows.

The teams will proberbly like the bloodpassport, to continue, and I think they want, ASO and friends to use them because it gets the teams to look good in public, and by that cycling gets to look good in public, which is a good thing if pro cycling has to continue.

Pineau -> QuickStep
is quickstep going clean or are these two tired of not winning?

It's simple really
Quickstep without Boonen and Bettini has no one who can do diddly squat, especially since Steegmans isn't prepared to sprint for himself (he's been training to lead someone out, which is very different physically)
so Quickstep is loading up on big french names so they can get invited next year.
