I am using this database for a while now, too and am generally happy with it.
I made some changes to it for my liking. I limited all attributes related to disciplines to 83 (hill, sprint, mountain, ..) => more upsets . I severly lowered all hill attributes (-10) and lowered all resistances(-5) for all pure sprinters as to make some race results more realistic. Milan-San Remo for instance is now won by hill(sprint) specialists like Kwiatkowski, Sagan, Matthews instead of Kittel, Gaviria etc.). I think this discrepancy in statting and real life results could be partialy attributed to fitness peaks in game closing the gaps. While also high resistances allow these sprinters to have too much of a leeway where they should not have one. The sprinters are still not limited to heavy in my liking:
Gaviria for instance in 2017 got 5th in Milan-San Remo and in my games Greipel (although he is arguably worse in hills) still can get 5th in Milan-San Remo. I also saw Gaviria being a monster before in northern classics (he is by now means bad at it), which got reduced by these changes. Arguably the game/simulation could also do more to challenge these riders and not straight up drive a Gaviria w/o teammates up to the front again. But that is how it is.
I also made some small changes to the strongest riders to hopefully reflect them more realistically in the game, but i feel like that's not worth sharing.
Again, these are personal likings. I also use some different regen files and simulation files. Not everyone is keen to work their underlying files.
EDIT: A natural conclusion of course also is, that Sagan and Matthews get buffed by these changes. I reduced some of Sagan's attributes though, as to make him a tad weaker in NC.

We're actually doubting to drop the max potential to 6 because the extensive growth is literally insane in PCM this year.
Would this only be for young riders? If you were to do this for all riders wouldn't it create several issues with many current riders having attributes beyond the potential limit of potential 6 who for that reason would be assigned random potentials?
As far as I understand there is noway to control the potential of newgens? If not they would become overpowered if all current young riders in the db are capped at potential 6.

Don't worry, we're just testing stuff, we won't release anything alike until we are 100% sure it works.
@Benji, great great DB but after recent updates it warns me to use the world db when trying to start a career. It says something like mod career not sync with database..
It's safe to play. Cyanide added new checking for mods to make sure stage files are present. The files for Tour de Hongrie are missing from the WorldDB so will use the default stage (Quebec) if you play that tour but everything is OK otherwise.
Hey
I got a problem with the final update 3.00
Im trying to start a new carrer with a custom team Omega Siemens. Problem is that the jersey is not in the game. Can't seem to find it in the folder?

Its an ITT from the Amgen Tour and basically the AI riders can't make it up the first hill, they just (comically) stop halfway up and roll backwards past the start ramp. I replaced it in my save with a different ITT stage and got past the issue, but it might be worth looking at to prevent it happening for others.
Though there is a problem as the stages in latest results section are mixed and not in correct order. Don't ask me what went wrong here.
EDIT: I checked further and stages are totally out of order when looking at results. For example at TDU: stage 1 is called stage 5, stage 2 is called 3 etc. Nothing makes sense.

AlZak, I made a tutorial on how to change stats to your likings, AlZak. Then again, I personally disagree since the stats are mostly suggested by everyone using it.
