Cheers for the reports tsmoha, your work rate is something to behold (and to be scared of, if you claim to have a life as well). The quality of reports is so consistent and enjoyable throughout the MG, it's made my half-year experience extremely satisfying.
Though we didn't end up with a Havik sprint, Gradek's breakaway runner-up accomplished the same thing. We scored a number of different ways this race, and that's exactly what we have to do in the hilly stage races, one of our weakest race formats. Though we didn't quite manage the top tier scoring of WCC (or others like Xero) this race, I'm very pleased with the haul, just north of 100 pts.
We've got Battenkill (Jerôme will be needed) and Bulgaria (3P!!!) coming this month, so some opportunities for consistent points on the table. If we're to challenge for the title, we'll need to perform in some upcoming races that, on paper, will give us troubles like Benelux and the Tour of Britain. I can see the title slipping away with every consistent WCC result and with In-n-Out's resurgence, but results like this will get us back on track.
Just wanted to stop by to say how happy I am that Kaislavuo got a CT-year. Nice 4th place from the Finn and amazing race all together by Reddit with a stage 7th as the worst result - not bad!
