For instance Petacchis skills on plain is pointet 1116864512? What does that mean? I mean I can propably figure it all out, by comparing with the database, it just takes the hell of a lot of time, so if you have like a short note to explaine it for me, that would be great?
Well it's a bit complicated. The numbers in the database are programmed as floating-points, or something like that. I tried to figure out how to edit the values and I did, in a way.
This is what I did: As for 1116864512 the hex-code is 42920000. And then I convert the hex-code to a floating-point and this will be 73. Which should be the skill for Petacchi on plain!

Thanx mate...
I found out...
But now I have the final database, but problems activating it...
I copied the database into the cyanide/PCM 2007/Database folder, but when starting the game, I find no where to choose the actual database... It still remains the same as always: "OfficialRelease.cdb"... And even changing the name of my new database to "OfficialRelease.cdb" doesn´t make any difference....:-(
So where do I put the new database to acticate it, or where can I choose that particular one to be the used database in the game? |

I think you just have to overwrite the original OfficialRelease.cdb with the one in the update. Then just start a new game and it should be ok. |

Hmmm.... Still not working:-( Frustrating
Did you have one of your "home-made" databases working yet?
They still store all database in the same folder, don´t they?
Really weird I think... |

My "home-made" worked perfectly. I'm using Initial Mod now. They still store all database in the same folder.
What did you do when you exported the workspace back to the .cdb? |

I just pressed the "Create New Cyanide Database (*.cdb)" - button... A few moments past by, and then i found the new database in the CDB - folder...
Then copied it to Database folder, and replaced it with the original "OfficialRelease.cdb" - database... |

I think you have to press "Update all table(s) for CDB" before "Create New..." if not I think your changes won't be updated in database. |

Nja... Still not working... When you´ve changed the text-file you just save it as usual, don´t you?
And when opening the Kicker, you just open the particular work space, go to the Export-menu, choose update bla bla... and then create a new cdb?
Hmmm... Anyway, I´m way to tired to figure this out by now...
I better get a good nights sleep....
Thanks for your help anyways...
Maybe we´ll talk tomorrow...!
Take care... |

Well. I think it won't help just to edit the txt files. You've got to edit the access file. The .mdb file in the .\Data\"Workspace"\ directory. Because it's here Kicker exports all tables you want to edit, and it's from this file it update the .cdb file from at the export. Something like that. And you must remember to copy your .cdb file from the .\PCM Kicker\CDB folder after you have pushed "Create New Cyanide Database". |

I've made a new zip-file containing all you need for Kicker NG to work. Plus information on how to get it to work.

I guess it should. As long as it's able to open access files. |

I don´t even have an mdb.file in the workspace directory?
And even if I had, how would you change it, wothout the file being a textfile? |
