Amgen Tour of California Stage 5
Today is a hilly stage and all I need to do is keep the peloton all together and make sure no one gains anytime.
I was able to relax during the beginning of the race because there were no breaks and no one seemed to care.
As always a large breakaway got away and they worked together trying to dtay away from the peloton.
The Peloton had to do a lot of work to bring the break back in and only 3 of my teammates were able to stay with me. In the end it was a one two by QuickStep as Carrara took 1st.
I hope to gain time tomorrow during the long time trial. I may not be a better time trialer then some of them but I am in great form.

Amgen Tour of California Stage 6
Today's stage is a long time trial. I will have a long wait because I go last. this is the make or break stage and I need to pull off the best time trial so far in my career.
Rosseler was one of the first to go and he set a great time holding the lead for a good little while.
The Duo of Zabriske and Millar both set great times with Zabriske taking 1st and Millar taking 2nd. There time looked unbeatable.
When I went I knew I had to set a strong time.
I busted my butt taking risks on every single turn. In the end I finished 5th but it was good enough to secure the leader

The only reason I am doing so good is because I actually made sure I was on good form. Everyone else's form sucks.

Amgen Tour of California Stage 7
Todays stage had a couple hills but would most likely go to the sprinters. I needed to watch out for a couple riders and make sure they didn't gain any time on me. I had only a 1 minute lead so I had to be careful.
I sat in the peloton easily for the beginning of the race with my teammates by my side.
A large breakaway picked up a lot of time but had trouble working together which led to the players being caught.
There was still one guy left and he was caught with about 25 kilometers left in the stage.
In the end there were only 2 BMC riders left in the peloton, including me, but yet no one got away from the peloton. Hushovd edged out the win over O'Grady for a great win
So with only one stage left and it being extremely flat, I look to hold on to the lead and take the win overall.
