instead os a lifetime ban; how about a suspension of 5 years and when the suspension is lifted the rider wouldnt be able to ride in the most important and mediatic races
i cant see top riders dope themselfs to win vuelta a mallorca or something

Am i the only one that thinks that none of the astana boys are going to win. of course, i can't for the life of me think of who's gonna beat them...esp if di luca isn't...aherm...doing questionable things to have questionable results.
its going to be an awesome giro though. |

The problem being...Levi is jet lagged, Contador was on a holiday, and Kloden probably will fade in the mtns w/o his regular dope. Now that di luca hopefully doesn' thave his own dope...
it might be menchov. |

Phane: Without his regular dope? Who says he won't get his dope during the Giro?
I'd be very surprised if Klöden doesn't win. |

No way he has said that he won't ride the vuelta instead he his puting his all season on TDF, so for him the Giro will just be a practice. And he will get beaten by kloden and levi in the TT
And levi will beat kloden in the mountain so levi to win.
Di luca might win in the mountain stage but he will get thrashed by levi and kloden in the TT

yea. but i think Di luca won't be as strong as last year
and this year he has serious competition against him no more just A schleck a 20 odd year old kid.
now he has big guns against him and all 3 are in the same team so good luck but I don't think a miracle will happen

I think the major count against Di Luca repeating his performance is that this year he didn't win Liége. It was a gigantic morale boost for him last year, it was the first time I saw him smile.
This year, not so much.

A big question is with petachi suspended who will win the sprinter jersey I would go for Bennati or Zabel, they are the 2 bigest sprinting name but maybe Cavendish or sombodyelse mite take it.
