British ownage B)
1st and 3rd in the swimming final, the commentator was so funny for the last 50 meters all you could hear was:
GO ON GREAT BRITAIN!!! ADLINGTON IS CATCH HER!!! JO JACKSON IS LOOKING GOOD AS WELL!!
OH MY GOD A BRITISH WOMAN HAS WON GOLD IN A SWIMMING POOL!!!
Constant shouting First gold medal for a British woman swimmer in 48 years, and we got bronze as well, that's what I call a good day

So anyway, did any of you see the Men's Team Archery final? Korea won after the Italians blew it all of the last arrow.

haha yeah it was funny. "I'D LOVE TO HUG HER RIGHT NOW!"
let's see how the commentators react to more gold medals, so far they've been funny reactions.

I did. I actually thought the italians will take that before the last 6, but too bad for them, and especially forr young Nestilli. His hands were shaking.
And a danish archer is going to meet one of the italians. Goddbye Dall.
I'm danish too and i agree so far it haven't been very good.
My danish medal expectations:
2 medals in rowing. A big possibillity is that both are gold.
hopefully 1 medal in shot put, but Joachim B. Olsen have had an injury in training before olympics.
1 medal in badminton. It could be a few different. Tine could have, but lost today. Gade can get one if he hit top level, and he lokked good today. Mens doubles are always good, but are facing second and thirdseed.
at least 2 medals in cycling: Linda were close. Fuglsang could do it mountain bike. The track team could maybe ditch the brits for gold, but should be able to get medal.
hopefully a handball medal. We are reigning european champions, but draw Egypt in the first game and the world secondbestplayer is injured
Then there are a couple who culdo do it, if they hit top top level. Hjort-hansen could do it in swimming. Maze or Wocniacki in table and tennis. The 49er boat in sailing is doing great. Henning has a very high top level in triathlon. And maybe a horse rider or a canoer could something out of the box. |

Your handball girls just got whipped very hard. so no gold from them You will probaly end up with a gold or ten, but could be funny if you missed it
It would be a fairytale if we won a horse riding medal, becaus one of our competitors is a real princess |

And if we won a horsey medal. It would provide a reason for all small girls to ride horseys and start a new economic boom in horsey stuff that eventually would result in many new horsey gold medals! This deserves a banana smiley!

Brilliant Badminton match just now, for me it was equal in excitement with the Womens Road Race.
Gail Emms and Nathan Robinson, Athens Silver medallists in the Mixed Doubles, up against the Chinese 2nd Seeds in the first round - who include the female Goa Ling who beat them in the Athens final.
The Brits won the first game 21-16, and were 12-7 up in the second before losing it 16-21. Then in the final game the Chinese lookedto have it won, 17-12 ahead but the Brits came back!! To win 21-19

Huge badminton win, I think everybody thought they were finished, but what a come back
Anyway, a note on the badminton: Our pair just beat the number 1 seeds. That's looking good - a medal should now be on the cards
