That's one of the few problems with an attack as powerful as this one. They don't like to sit on the bench or be substituted. If Messi isn't injured, he plays, no matter what. Plus he seems to have some not so obvious health issues every now and then, but plays anyway. That's why someone like Nolito would have been very valuable, and why the injury of Rafinha was so costly.
Didn't they want to sign Dirk Kuyt?

That City team. Lethargic, apathetic..Yaya barely walked. Kompany's a crook, time to call it a day. Aguero isolated playing in midfield.
Strange strange performance by City, it's like they did not care one bit, perplexing. Real wasn't even very good, there for taking.
Anyway, hopefully Atletico gets their revenge.
