Two possible outcomes:
The breakaway wins it
or
Hushovd wins it in the sprint...

I think if it comes down to the sprint Steegmans will be hard to beat.

I don't think he will... The finish is better for Hushovd because the final km has a small climb that goes up 7% and Steegmans won't do well there...
But my money is on the breakaway....

Beware though, the last km is at 4,5% average, with 200m at 9% or something like that... Not really a thing for pure sprinters, more for punchers.
There are Lequatre and Hushovd left as sprinters in the chase group, plus Eisel in front.
Not sure who's in that first group, many leaders are not there (Gilbert, Julich, Pereiro, Rebellin, Evans, etc.) |

Looks like the breakaway won't make it to the end but it's their own fault... No cooperation... Eisel may have just lost his chance to win a stage on the P-N this year...

Chavanel might do good on it as well?

From eurosport.fr :
LE GROUPE MAILLOT JAUNE: Tom Stamsnijder (Gerolsteiner), Vicente Reynes et Luis Leon Sanchez (Caisse d'Epargne) Rinaldo Nocentini (AG2R), Karsten Kroon (CSC), Thor Hushovd (Crédit Agricole) Jérôme Pineau (Bouygues Telecom), Mickaël Cherel et Lilian Jégou (Française des jeux), Sylvain Chavanel (Cofidis), Gert Steegmans (Quick Step), Gorka Verdugo (Euskaltel).
Most of them are either decent sprinters, decent punchers or climbers, thus most of them stand a chance, as well as the guys from the early break. We'll see...

Edit: already answered
Still, I think Hushovd will make it two in a row unless somebody attacks soon...

According to the TV Caption, Gilbert and Millar are in the front group. Frank Schleck is about to get in the front group too

The break has been caught, the live-ticker now mentions approximately 30 riders leading the race. 13+3 = 16... Did a second group merge with the first one I just named above ? |

Ticker says it's Chérel not Jégou, and Franzoi who bridged up with him (they obviously forgot to mention him, unless he also came back from behind ?).
edit : Gerrans and a Rabobank (couldn't they mention him earlier ? :x) also caught Chérel & Franzoi.
edit 2 : now Pineau attacks
