Backing up this, despite being one of the old school skype members way back when. Moving to Discord feels like the smart move at some stage seeing as the site one is even linked under the banner.

There is the PCM SimGame discord that does the whole sim in discord (no board). Of course there is no need for switching it whole, but the way they do it is very good in overview, loadingtimes and comfort.
For a start I think it would be nice to have Discord as the main "chat" feature, would already be a plus and make communication easier IMO. |

I will be dragged kicking and screaming off this website! Probably alongside several other of my equally stockholm syndromed and insane friends. I've spent far too much of life here to consider moving the game away or leaving.
But throw it open to the MGUCI and other members if shifting to discord instead of skype for inane related chatter would be of interest.

I wouldn't get back on Skype either, but I am active on Discord. There's a ManGame channel on PCMDaily's server, but it doesn't look too active.

Guess I'm just getting old by now, but not really a fan of discord so far. And I kind of like that I can use skype more or less just for MG 
But I guess Skype will eventually be dead, so why not try something else at some point...

Discord at the moment is mostly Deez, Adler and mbs trolling for fun. I think it will get a lot more serious come transfer time |

If you want to join the active Skype group, which we have tried to see if people want to move away from multiple times and they've rejected it, as I said above, PM me and I can sort it for you.
Otherwise Discord, which most people these days would indeed agree is "vastly superior", does actually have a PCM.daily Management-Game channel, and is available to join in the website's header bar. So if you want to be part of totally awesome totally on-topic discussion go and join that one instead 
Or just do both, as I think it's fair to say they... serve different purposes.

Just a bump for new managers ahead of transfers in a few hours - Skype and Discord are often great ways to get in touch with different managers and have some general fun and discussion in the groups. Use the link in the header of the site for Discord and drop me a PM for Skype
