I will be the first to say it: Landa is going in the top-5 this year. I feel it! |

Normally Majka would have been their man for Vuelta but problem with Krueziger have put them in difficulty.
No, I think before the Tour, it was always planned for Contador to ride Tour-Vuelta this year. Majka would have been support/free role. Of course, all that went sideways, first with Kreuziger story and later with Contador's crash.

I dunno about this. I think it's stupid to go back to racing now. He could risk a lot if he falls again
same here..racing full gas Vuelta is always kind of threat for your next season. After that crash and injury?
Is it Oleg behind it..who has no riders left to ride succesful Vuelta.
Well, for you, everything is fault of Oleg as i see it. Shamefuly for you, he will have the best cycling team in 2015,already looking forward to your hate.
I would rather see the will of Contador to ride his home race and at least one GT behind it. We are not doctors, if it was so risky, he would not do it.
you just want bertie on that race..specially after Roman is banned.
Oleg will fuck this sooner or later..he is to passionate and wont choose reasnoble methods to be honest winner.
Ou dear ..ofcorse Sagan is now Oleg boy..and Roman..you will be 2015 Oleg's lap dog.. |

How can you consistently right so dumb comment Guido???
Anyways, I cant find Arredondo on the startlist anymore as he is scheduled to take part in the canadian one day races instead. That seems a bit weird to me, but lets see.
Movistar among other teams have made their teams official: Quintana, Valverde, Antón, José Herrada, Erviti, Castroviejo, Malori and Gorka Izaguirre. They need one more rider. I kinda expected to see Intxausti here as he seemed to be very good in Poland, but Javi Moreno could also be an option I guess. Others as well.
Seing how much Betancur sucks and Pozzovivo crashed, Ag2R is without any GC-contender at all, having won the last 2 GT's team classification. Can they be tempted to bring either Bardet or Peraud who showed great shape today or just completely give up on the Vuelta?
There are many other question, of course. How will the young riders fare and how the the GC-contenders from TdF go in the Vuelta? Personally i hope for Landa and Chavez to have a breakthrough here, and I think out of Zubeldia, VDB and Pinot only 1 at best will go in the top-10 |

I was also wondering the same thing. You would also expect Zoidl and Kiserlovski to be there. But they were missing from provisional list too. And now Arredondo is also gone.
Trek are placing everything behind Zubeldia. Rest is basically classics team. I know Didier and Jungles can climb but not mountains. Cancellara will leave at 1st rest day as he usually does.

So this is common sense?
If this is your standard of common sense, then you have some serious problems which needs to be adressed. I hope for your sake that you have been either drunk or high when you wrote all this shit.

So, how I am a blind fanboy? As far as I as concerned my assessment of my fav riders have been reasonable and fair. I fail to see what you mean by that to be completely honest.
What I mean by what I said that you seem to be writing those comments over and over again (take the Roman's lap dog as an example). Its just getting tired, really and I am pretty sure many other on this forum feel they same way about your comments lately. And you are the one talking about common sense..
But nevermind, you dont seem to be the kinda guy to have a discussion with. Just a little curious about how you see ME and other so called 'fanboys' as the biggest threat to a forum like this when you arent exactly contributing positively either much of the times as I see it |

Why are the 5 pages spend on meaningless discussions on potential Vuelta winners? Betancur has this one in the bag, rest of the field might as well spend their afternoons having a siesta.

Spoiler I think if they place a nice high quality restaurant on top of every mountain Betancur might break a few climbing records.

Looking for a contract? Probably.
Fresher than the competition? In terms of race days; yes, he should be.
Bit of an outsider? Most certainly, given the current state of his weight and such.
I think we have our unexpected winner for this year...

yep you have great public opinion speaker.

Indeed never mind.
I have been here to long anyway (7.5 years)..members who had actually something to say are mostly gone Aquarius, ..nonsense, isso. Wondering just why guys like Willer and ruben still hanging around. P.s. Mike has sold this forum to who knows who already.
I have survived Armstrong fans, Andy Schleck fans etc. Why those fanboys/compatriots they can not see what is really behind the person? Like mr. Oleg at the moment..
I am sick of those subjective comments and those dancing bananas. Why all you kids did not stayed at facebook?
Good luck..god speed. I am out for good.

Betancur is such a waste of talent He is doing the same thing he did last year, after a great first part of the season he went to Colombia to eat as much as he can and party a lot and then claim he was ill. He is second to last at the moment at Vuelta a Burgos and I bet he will retire after the 2 week of La Vuelta if he survive the 1 week at all. |

On the other hand I remember that he was in the final selection before the last climb during 2013 WC, so maybe he'll get in shape this time too. Though I have to agree his behaviour is very disappointing and notorious :/

I think that Guido is very good part of our cycling community here and i have to say i enjoy what he has to say on the matter of races, when he is not bashing Oleg...
I ever respect your opinion Guido and if it seems we are not getting along very well, it is rather a friendly banter, than anything personal,at least i hope it is also from your side. So please dont go anywhere and enjoy the Vuelta here with us.
But yeah, your are right i will be Saxo fanboy next year, as i like the team already and you-know-who is coming
