Garmin are really starting to !@#$^ me off. What's the point of having Von Hoff, Fernandez and Kreder here if Farrar is left alone 3kms to go? And in Utah, Howes sprints for 9th. I don't think he is anywhere near as quick as any of them.
I dont know if Im correct, but I think I saw Farrar in the wheel of Bos and he couldnt follow his acceleration at all, doesnt seem to me as Farrar is having it.

I think Farrar was badly positioned today, yet still managed 6th. For sure he is not as good as he once was, perhaps not even a top10 sprinter in the world nowadays, but I believe he could've been in the top3 today with better lead-out. There was a lot of gap between first 5 or 6 riders and the next group around 300 meters to go. Farrar needed to bridge it and he wasn't in anyone's slipstream.
I was surprised he was not involved in that last kilometer crash, though.

Another flat stage with a large hairpin turn on a roundabout with 1 km to go and than straight, wide and slightly downhill sprint to the finish. A lot of people will have the chance to join the fight.

It wasn't that tight, it was more than a wheels length, I've seen the replay.
