Taaramae and Kwiatkowski in a breakaway. Tony Martin is also there to help Kwiat. Very interesting.
I dont think that was planned, it just happened. But because IAM will want keep going Kwiatek will just sit there.
That would happen if IAM didn't have a rider in the Kwiatek group.
Yeah I know Hollenstein Wyss and Chavanel will keep going & also Tony with Kwiatkowski just sitting there |

LOL, biggest bullshit i have read in the long time, so i hope you are trolling mate. Where is written that point competition is for the one-trick ponies?

Its called the points jersey, not the sprinters jersey.
Besides i actually think he is more worthy then any of the other fast guys.
But then again we all view things differently. I don't give much for fast guys who has no skill what so ever, than follow their train all the way to the line. (thinking about Cavendish and a few others here)
But wouldn't life be boring if we all saw things the same way |

something that you don't agree on, doesn't immediatly mean that the other is trolling. especially if you leave out half the post (making the post look out of context imo) and when I don't give completes post.
I'm serious, if Sagan doesn't win a stage I don't find him worthy of winning the points jersey, especially because in the sprints he only sits in Kittel's wheel and doesn't even try to win stages (at least from my impression)

In my opinion points classification belongs to the person who can consistently finish highly on stages.
Also King is a waste of a rider on any roster |

Great effort from Greipel to come back to the front of the bunch, even if the pace has dropped. |

My thought exactly. Sagan is a VERY worthy winner of the green jersey.
And yeah, pretty much sums up Cannondale. Horrific team minus Sagan indeed |

that's what I don't get. the only thing that can stop him from winning it is crashing.
So what he should do for two weeks now, just sightseeing? He wants to win by biggest possible margin and be in every move possible. It is enormous exposure for Cannondale if nothing else...
Thnaks god for these type of athletes, that are not satisfied with what they have, but they want to achieve even more and win everything. Complete opposite of Schleckesque approach.
But saving some energy on stages like today where he have absolutely no chance to win, and no other sprinters will get any points, he might actually win a stage at some point, instead of finishing anywhere from 2 to 4 on random stages. I agree that it is very interesting to see him do these kind of crazy stuff, but at this moment it is just a waste of energy. There will be mountains later in the stage where he can attack just for the fun of it. No need to attack everyday.

greipel leads a strongly reduced pack through a mountain pass, tony martin in polkadots, a french guy is in yellow, the climbs have steeper gradients than 7%, and the best placed favourite is ahead because of a flat stage.
this years tour is something special. |
