You are the best general after the battle we have here. This could be the winning move and Sagan always tries to win. And still he almost got it. It is so easy to make fun of it, but it is stupid. Other way, he would be called wheelsucker
I guess the fact Sagan attacked on that just shows that he hasn't got confidence in his sprint anymore which proves my point that he lost speed.
I just think he is tired of getting fucked over by guys, Cancellara, not wanting to help him, so he followed GVA and couldn't decide if he should go 100% or not as GVA is not a slow guy. |

Was König involved in the crash? Otherwise Tiago Machado must be their new GC rider. I'm pretty sure I saw Atapuma with 2 other BMC riders in the last few KMs but I must be hallucinating then. Does BMC have another little black guy? |

Hahahaha, do you belive yourself when you say something like this?
Sagan lost a bit of speed because he's now focusing on being an all-arounder, but nowhere near the level you're trying to show that. The guy got 2nd three times this year and two times 4th in Tour and we're only 1 week in the race. Do you realize how good results these are? Before Le Tour , were you the one who kept saying that he will never get Top 5 this Tour, as he's now a puncheur? Sagan's attack was a bit dumb, yes, but he's sick of no one wanting to help him, which proves my point that he's still on top.
The only two guys who are faster than him are Greipel and Kittel at the moment, which is faaaar from calling him a bad sprinter, saying that he lost alot of speed and stupid things like that.

In every spring classic everyone is expecting Sagan to chase down everyone too. It's a big challenge being the one everyone looks at. |

Looking at next stages, I'd say Sagan will have another good chance at stage 11 or 12 to try the win.

Ugh Gerrans, always coming up out of nowhere...
I agree with bbl, Gerrans did a dangerous move there when he pushed right into Talansky's lane, just to get across to the other side. Talansky looked a bit like "Why the hell am I sprinting" moments before the crash, and might have actually made room on his own choic... By then, it was too late though. I'd prefer a view from atop to judge the crash though. Until now I have only seen the crash from the front, but I'd shift the blame more towards Gerrans than Talansky.
Either way; too bad for Talansky, hopefully it won't affect him too much come tomorrow. Same goes for VDB of course.
Great racing by Sagan & GVA. Would have loved for GVA to take the win today but alas, Trentin with his second win at le Tour. Quite something.

All these 2nd 4th 5th places are good for the green jersey classification but else they dont mean anything. It's stage wins that count. I said hes a jack of all trades master of none. On Stage 2 he also got beat by Kwiatkowski and van Avermaet in the sprint. With Cav and Modolo out, Démare being poor and Greipel being lost for 5 stages it was very easy to get 4th place on a stage. I'm not saying he has lost a shitload of speed and is very slow but he was a guy who 2 years ago beat Greipel in a long straight drag race, the 2012 Greipel who was in great shape back then and is now scrambling for 4th. That's a definite drop of speed. |

Master of none? Sagan is the best uphill sprinter in the peloton. And guess what, there hasn't been an uphill sprint yet. |

The Sagan fans meltdown is real, the world is just a blur now from all these tears of rage and the missclicks happen.
P.S Iguwell, I think youll find Froome being the best at uphill sprint. Just saying

Nobody calls Sagan wheelsucker. But this attack was straight dumb. There're only several sprinters who can beat Sagan in flat stage, so why would he attack when it's clear that none of them is left in group. Another tactical mistake for him in my book.
I agree it was not the wisest move ever boys, but that is part of what Peter is as the rider, he tries to win always and you cant be sure in the sprint. But i dont think it costed him the win, rather the great lead out from Kwiatek did and stage not being few metres longer.

Fuck you Gerrans. Just because Cav hurt you doesn't mean you can go around doing it to everyone else.
Blaming Talanskys crash on Gerrans, really? For me it was 100% Talanskys fault for even being in that position at that moment, then start looking back and doing some other really strange stuff in a sprint, stupid... |

You are real moron. If somebody from OPQS was top 5 in first seven stages to start the Tour, we would be all bathing here in your semen
