Yes, LachisEditor.exe is my editor. I am not sure what you did expect but my editor is a generic database editing tool. Basically it means that you have to know what you are doing.
Here is a small tutorial to get started:
1. Click the star
2. Click "Extract cdb", then select the database or career save
3. Wait until the data has been extracted
4. Select the table you want to edit
5. Search the data you want to edit (Click the column headers to sort the data or use the filters)
6. Do your editing
7. Repeat steps 5-6 if you want to edit something else
8. Click the star, then "Export to cdb"
9. Enter a file name (it is recommended not to overwrite the original file)
10. Start the game and select your newly created database in the options or if you edited your save, load the created save in the game
If you don't know which table contains which data and what the columns mean, then I recommend that you ask in a more general thread. |

I just saw your other thread, so I will answer your questions there as it does not belong here. |

@searmh: Sorry I cannot answer such questions. I can program an editor but I am not a database maker. Consider asking in a more general thread if you don't get an answer here.
@GreatWhite1: I am not sure what you are referring to. A DB is used as base for careers. A save contains the progress of a career.
Assuming that you want to edit your career, you should find the save here: my documents\pcm14\users\your name\database\solo\name of db\
If that is not your problem, then read the short tutorial above and/or describe your problem more precisely. |

That image shows nothing. No table name and the column headers are cut off.
There are no column lookup for gene_i_ columns. You put numbers there.
I think you are in a wrong table, and I doubt that you will get an answer here, so consider posting a more complete question in a more general thread.

This is a known problem, which has been posted in this thread before.
(That's the reason why you should post your problems here, so that somebody can find it using the forum search.)

My comment was only an addition to our conversation through PM where I asked you to post your problem in this thread.
I have not blamed you for not reading every post in this thread. I wrote "using the forum search". Also I wrote "somebody can find it" not "you can find it".
The forum search was helpful because it helped me finding an answer for you.

OK. thanks anyway. But can you recommend an editor where I can get rid of the R&D issue and delete that message, since I cannot use Lachi's editor?
Thanks |

Look in the download section of previous games. (just don't take an older version of my editor). |
