I'm not really sure how Wilco's third week will be. Only indication would be last year, but that was a handicapped third week.
Not sure about Gesink. Don't forget about his heart problems, I'm not even sure if he'll ride one.
Really like this team, bit of experience and youth.
Nizzolo ought to get few results, will be hard to get win with Bouhanni, Kittel and Vivani, but on the right day he just might. Hondo and Felline should do a nice job for him.
I love the spearheaded trio of climbers, with Kiserlovski going for GC and Arredondo for the stages.
Looking forward to look on the cooperation of Evans and Samuel Sanchez..
Evans got finally a strong domestique which he was missing a whole career..
I would say if Evans will not crack in 3rd week + will be able to recover well and Quintana and Rodrigez wont be pretty good in TT, we could have another old grand tour winner or at least podium finisher..and do not say that not :-P

If you're looking for a giro preview rant, check this out! It's a bit long but it's a very good and in depth preview for the battle for the Magila Rosa
Must say. I like the Androni Team. Hoogerland and Pellizotti should do something and I would be surprised if they dont win a few stages from breakaways.

Who will be be the most surprising rider?
Riccardo Zoidl. He will get a top20 in GC hopefully.
That'd be great but not sure if a Top 20 would title him the most surprising rider? I like his new National Champion jersey by the way very much. At first it was meh with only the sleeve... but now it really looks good and is easily to be spotted in the crowd.

Movistar Team and Team Katusha with 2 really strong squads there even with 2 Riders as helpers that could be leaders in others Teams like Daniel Moreno and Igor Anton. Cant wait to see the battle in the mountains and even in the TT´s been Purito and Quintana as they are almost equal in both terrains. I think its going to be a very close Giro.
We've been talking about that somewhere else already (news thread?), they decided to show the live coverage on Eurosport HD and only highlights on ES itself.
Apparently to boost their HD package which comes with Sky, but it probably only pisses everyone off.
