This just doesn't make since, Cleveland trades up to get a guy that they passed on twice
The QB position was not the one they were primarily looking to improve on.
And they also drafted two way better players earlier.
I know that they got two good guys, but he is a head case, and getting passed twice by Cleveland probably wasn't good for his head.

Yep, that's also true.

I like to think the Browns are actually making progress, but this is just to fool their depressed fanbase

They are already eliminated from the playoffs next year

Consider yourself lucky. I gave Teddy a 6th round grade. Decent arm, decent accuracy, decent to good decisions, but virtually nothing in terms of ability to grow.

Great ending for the Texans as Bridgewater was taken off the board and isn't available to even be considered. Hoping they stick to my plan and take Tuitt.

Pretty happy with that. Added a CB to play with Haden and got a QB, admittedly a slightly cocky and risky one, but at 22 not a bad bit of business compared to had he been taken early. Plus, the trade for 4 gives another 1st rounder next year, so not all bad. Now for Marqise Lee at 35 please |

We've got to wait and see. I think 6th round is kind of an exaggeration by all standards. And I also don't know what you mean by nothing 'in terms of ability to grow'. How do you know he isn't going to get better.
But as I said there's no point in discussing it now. We'll see when the season starts.
And I agree with you about Texans. It would be so bad if they draft Carr with the next pick. Mettenberger in the 3rd will be way better if he's still available. |

Not from poor play but from mental trauma

Hoped Dallas would draft Johnny Football last night after the circulating rumors. |

Looks like Tuitt falls all the way to 46...

We got a great draft going so far. I didn't realize that Samoan was still available, just assumed he got drafted when he should have around 16-18.
After that we got what I think is the best true TE in the draft and he will be a monster for us and then we got the best true nose tackle in the draft. So far we got 4 players all of which should be week one starters.

It was all going so well, until Gordon tested positive. All well and good drafting Manziel, but who's he going to throw to?
Day 2 wise, wish the Browns had taken the aforementioned WR, but I hope the depth is as good as they seem to think it is. Still, filled another couple of gaps so it could be worse. We might even go 5-11! |

You guys are still doing fine, don't overreact, don't reach. That is how fools draft and their teams stay bad. (See Jax).

It is a much improved Browns team for sure, it's just we will really miss Gordon and will also likely end up using 1 of our 2 first rounders on a WR next year, when there are other holes that needing filling, before Gordon went back to his drug habit.
Still, there's some nice pieces for a running game with Manziel, Tate and a really strong offensive line. Hopefully Hawkins, Little and Burleson will do for the passing game. |

I can only guess Farmer knows something we don't about the Gordon situation. Pierre Desir is a steal, but do we really need another corner? |
