Team CSC-Orbea Replaced By Movistar
Madrid, Spain - After months of talk, a deal has finally been made.
Mresuperstar has come to terms with a 1-year contract with Movistar.
Movistar is a Spanish cellphone operator owned by Telefonica.
They are new to the Man-Game scene, but have always been
interested in funding a primary Spanish cycling team.
The leaked pictures of the jersey was confirmed by Mresuperstar,
however that's about all he would say to the reporters at this time.
"I want to talk to my team first before I saying anything in public,"
Mresuperstar said after stage 9 of the Volta a Portugal.
We are doubtfully any more news will come till the offseason now.
Mresuperstar got the job done and found himself a new home.
La bienvenida al ciclismo Movistar!

Clearly YouTube preferred to remain as a secondary sponsor of the Wikipedia team instead, but it is cool to see Movistar enter the ManGame. Good that the future of Spanish cycling is secure, even with Santander's demise.

Nice move. CSC will be missed, but it's great to see Movstar finding its way into the Man-Game. Also the jersey looks better than the actual boring plain dark blue version of the real-life team.

Nice change, i like Movistar in real life cycling, so good to see them moving into fantasy world.
You would be crazy to leave spanish focus in year when Santander giant should be dismantled and free agency will be flooded with top spanish talent...

Not really, besides their top two gunners not much depth at Santander which is one of the reasons they are near the bottom of the table. If we happen to promote I want to avoid the road Santander has taken of relying on the GT to save their seasons.

Well, Santander would be a bit higher up with more sensible race planning. Tenorio was wasted at the Tour, Valls sent to all 3 GTs - their Colombia line up is awful for example, considering who they could have sent.

*Writes down some notes*
Madrazo and Tenorio would be nice to bring in if we promote but at the same time I don't like dropping 2 million just for 2 guys.

I'll be surprised if they end up on the same team.

Altur Wins Stage 4 of Tour de l'Avenir
Reims, France - Crosswinds and rain caused havoc as the
breakaway steals stage 4 of the tour for the youngsters.
Marcos Altur from CSC-Orbea, riding in Pro Tour team 'rival' colors
of Prio-Porto, attacked away from the breakaway with 12kms to go.
Altur held off his breakaway companions and peloton to win his
first stage win of his career. Hopefully the first of many for
the future cobbler out of Spain.
He adds the stage win to the KoM victory he won
at the Tour of Bulgaria earlier in the season.
Mresuperstar hopes the next he raises his arms above
his head it's in a CSC-Orbea or Movistar jersey. |

Tenorio might bring very good points with good planning and he is not as expensive as Madrazo so you can buy him.

That's a very informative chart! Too bad Abal is finished this season. |

Madrazo & Tenorio Spotted On A Training Ride
With CSC-Orbea's Abal & Cobo
Madrid, Spain - The offseason is right around the corner and
it looks like Team CSC-Orbea manager Mresuperstar is already putting
his plans in motion for getting his new Movistar team ready to
compete in the Pro Tour next season.
Santander's duo of Angel Madrazo and Justo Tenorio were seen today in the local mountain region on a training ride with CSC-Orbea climbers, David Abal and Juan Jose Cobo.
Madrazo, Tenorio and Abal have all finished racing for the season.
Cobo still has the final race of the season, Japan Cup, on his calendar.
Madrazo decided to bring his Spanish RR jersey while his partner
Tenorio tested out the new Movistar colors for next season.
The training session lasted for about 45 minutes due to the heavy rain.
Madrazo and Tenorio didn't seem to care about breaking "team rules" by
attending the event stating they hadn't seen their manager in months,
so it's not like he could punish them for exploring their options.
Cobo was the first to head back to the team car,
Abal was eventually dropped after some friendly competition.
Surprisingly, Tenorio busted Madrazo in the final kilometers.
Will that hold any impact on who Mresuperstar targets in free agency?
Because odds are he is going to have enough money to afford both.

One would be a nice aim for a Spanish PT team obviously. Getting both is very unlikely imo. But would be nice to have them in a Spanish team.

This seems the logical thing to happen, doesn't it?
Which, in the ManGame of recent years, means it will happen (Trofimov, Sicard, Machado..)

Both seems a little optimistic, certainly when considering that some other promoting team(s) might also be putting aside some money for them .
That said, i'm guessing they'll be going for 1.2-1.5m, and i can't really see one go cheaper then the other. People will bid for one of them, and if they go over the limit, go for the other which will bring both of their prices up. 2.8 million for both doesn't even seem that unrealistic.
