Could you also include a list of how much money the teams have theoretically spent yet and where that places them in the rankings?

@ Shonak: Yes
(Info correct as of 19:20)
With a little over 3 days to the closure of the transfer window, here is a mid week update of the current transfer activity.
Current Bids: highest first
A Petacchi - Borussia Dortmund: 1,200,000
J Tschopp - Semen Indonesia: 1,000,000
S Szymd - Team 7up: 900,000
M Matthews - Team UK Youth: 750,000
Alan Davis - Borussia Dortmund: 700,000
Spoiler
Borut Bozix - Nokia Ekspla: 600,000
Bert Grabsch - Mota Engil: 600,000
Mark Renshaw - Team UK Youth: 600,000
Steve Chainel - Team 7up: 500,000
Simon Clarke - Team Iberia: 500,000
Jose Serpa - Cartoon Network: 500,000
Greg Henderson - SmarTone: 400,000
Jesse Sergent - SmarTone: 400,000
Kevin de Weert - Belgacom: 300,000
Alex Dowsett - Mota Engil: 300,000
Daryl Impey - Aviva Ryanair: 300,000
Adriano Malori - Mota Engil: 300,000
Tom Veelers - Cartoon Network: 300,000
Imanol Erviti - Team 7up: 250,000
Dimitriy Grizdev - Team Iberia: 200,000
Sebastien Rosseler - Cartoon Network: 200,000
Staf Schierlinckx - Team Iberia: 200,000
Steve Cummings - Bluebell Creameries: 100,000
Leopold Konig - Celesio: 100,000
Kristjan Koren - Borussia Dortmund: 100,000
Paul Martens - Nokia Ekspla: 100,000
Julien Vermote - Celesio: 100,000
With two top tier sprinters in their potential team Borussia Dortmund are willing to pay big for expected stage wins. Highest rated sprinter Petacchi going at 1,200,000 being the highest bid at the moment. Unlike in TOTC4 many people seem to be sceptical about which riders will do well in the GC. Tschopp and Szymd are going around the 1,000,000 mark, but are there other GC options out there.
Teams: Current bids/ budgets left: (Of teams which have posted at least 1 bid)
Alcyon: 0 / N/A
Aviva Ryanair - 1 bid / 2,700,000
Belgacom - 1 bid / 2,700,000
Bluebell Creameries - 1 bid / 2,900,000
Borussia Dortmund - 3 bids / 1,000,000
Cartoon Network - 3 bids / 2,000,000
Celesio - 2 bids / 2,800,000
Mota-Engil - 3 bids / 1,800,000
Nokia Ekspla - 2 bids / 2,300,000
Petro China - 0 bids / N/A
Semen Indonesia - 1 bid / 2,000,000
SmarTone - 2 bids / 2,200,000
Team 7up - 3 bids / 1,350,000
Team Iberia - 3 bids / 2,100,000
Team UK Youth - 2 bids 1,650,000
Riders still out there: (With no bids)
Maciej Bodnar -- The TT machine was a huge point scorer for Festina in TOTC3 and even a stage winner. With good recovery expect him to be battling to the end.
Stefano Garzelli -- The stage racer can handle the cobbles more so than his counterparts and multiple bids may come quickly for this veteran.
Stuart O'Grady - This all rounder is one tough nut to crack. He will be amongst the best in the cobbles and can ride a decent GC, his is one of the pure all-rounders here.
Adam Hansen - The winner of the GC in TOTC4, need we say more. Although some quality riders are available in TOTC5 surely he is still worth a bid.
These are just a handful of many riders on show. With 3 days to go and the likes of Atlantius, tmr96, MrUFo87, Ollfardh and duxili yet to bid expect this time to be filled with tension as teams vie for the best.
Now get back to those deals! |

Thanks mate.
Sorry for imposing these PES style transfer restrictions on everyone, maybe if we do another TOTC we can each team can have the freedom to bid on more riders.
Shonak - Things should get spiced up in the next few days with the people who haven't bided bidding. I know Atlantius will have something up his sleeve and tmr and duxili have already stated they are going to bid, but are just waiting things out atm. |

I bet you would like that.
You never know someone might snatch your riders at the last minute.
Will be interesting to see if there is a flurry of bits on Saturday. |

Hopefully duxili's evil manager persona from TOTC4 comes back. I think this auction house would be the perfect slave market for him.

Just 4 hours and 3 minutes to go until the end (of course it may well be extended with the 1 hour rule for some transfers.
The exciting times are approaching for the transfer period, every team should try and get 3 riders. No doubt some people will have forgotten completely about it and may end up with 0. Their loss.

Damn.
Lost Scheirlinckx due to a extremely high bid and a slight misunderstanding of the system. Now having tons of money left and will probably get a crappy bonus

Who do BVB have to lead out Petacchi? I hope Ciolek and Renshaw will be enough to keep him in check.
And am i the only one that saw potential in Quinziato? Crappy
REC means he won't be the GC rider he could/should be, but he should be a consistent points scorer none the less.
