I can't disagree there, but you need at least 2.

Barely. He is starting to pass into senility as well.

Not sure I agree there. Liggett is still a good commentator. Plus, there's not exactly a pool of capable commentators lined up.

Matthew Keenan has grown on me and the only reason there aren't more candidates lined up is because no one else has done it in the US since they took over. Eurosport has half a dozen regular English commentators.

Keenan has improved quite alot and I don't mind him at all anymore, doesn't make the mistakes that Liggett and Sherwen make and has a good knowledge about the sport. He did a good job last Giro and I believe Scott McGrory was his sidekick there and I enjoyed how they worked together.

This might be a sprint stage, but looking at the top 5 I highly doubt it was a mass sprint.

Dippofix
Well, the last few hundred metres they show with the stage profile looked very much like mass sprint material, though i suppose it's a possibility that a lot of sprinters got dropped because of the speed bumps earlier on.

A bigger group with most favourites did attack very early already.
So it wasn`t really a sprint and LL Sanchez is by far the most known rider probably followed by Gerdemann already. Wink

Gerdemann is an interesting rider this season. I think he could be a valuable scorer for MTN in the smaller races. Don`t expect him to be very good in the bigger races.

Great, a PCM Daily member took the stage. Pfft

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Luis Leon Sanchez
He has definitely started early on this season, and I can not believe I didn't realise at the time that Carlos Barredo was dropped from Rabobank due to something with his Biological Passport sometime and now he has retired.

Oh wow, those are great crowds for a .1 race. You wouldn't see that many people in Europe!

Well, you would! The crowds dont look as big as what the Tour of Britain gets, and that is also a .1 race
