@alexkr Well, the only possibility left how Gesink couldn't win this race is a really bad daily form for him and a really good one for Brajkovic. Gesink will take this. I believe.
It looks like he's finally going to break the "curse"

Desastrous Deutschland Tour... With tomorrows 30km+ ITT de la Fuente will loose probably a lot of places at the GC.
Are you sure? De la Fuente is 2 minutes ahead of the next rider in GC.

He will definately stay in the top 10, and looking at the competition I don't think much more could be expected.

Not bad from Hoffman to pull the 4th place against the big boys, of course that was because of perfect lead-out from Pokerstars.
Somebody from PT possibly interested in services of South African rocket? It will be hard for our team to meet his requirements.

Absolutely. I'm going to change my team into a much better sprinters side next season, so if he isn't hugely overpaid, then I'll be very interested in lining him up with Guerao.

That is the part i am not sure about.
But i will keep that in mind. (makes the note right next to big love poster of Diego Ulissi).

Don't how much the crash affected Phinney's performance here, but it looks like he wouldn't have been able to beat Gesink anyway.
And it's time to celebrate

A very good race for us, despite not grabbing any stage wins. The overall, another rider in the top 15 plus the team classification should keep us away from the relegation places.

Well congratulations to Gesink/alexkr. That was a very cool race, and a good enough result for Schumacher considering the mountains. Thank you for the reports SN, it was very enjoyable!

SN really knows how to rub it in... "at the expense of Wiggle's Scarponi". I could do without those kind of remarks

Congrats to 1t4i, that should keep their heads above water.
I think this seals it for me Team B&O's ProTour run.. unfortouneately it happens at the worst time because my team only gets better from now and a reduced salary budget more than complicates that.
Hm... at least I'm not too bummed at Continental racing, there's some great races in there

Congratulations to alexkr00, a very nice win by Gesink for sure
That should see them stay safe in the Pro Tour, while it's looking not so good for Team B&O.
It was a race as expected for us, and I'm happy that Stake Laengen got into a couple of breakaways. |

Congrats to Alexkr00 and thanks SN for great reports, also once more for the chance to be part of the PT just for one race, that experience is unpayable.
Shame about the crash from Popo, but hey, we got a stage win probably thanks to it, so not much harm done.
Hoffman also showed himself to the the others with his great positioning, that can be useful if we will have to part ways with him, he can be too big for Continental racing.
Overall decent showing of our colours in Germany, i hope we can grab another wildcard next year, it was fun!

Team Festina are looking for an affiliate team to swap loanies. Perhaps B&O could be that, with the two danish managers
I suspect Kwiatkowski and Arndt especially needs PT experience.
On topic:
This was a nice GC result for us. Both from Fothen and the suptop riders such as Dees, Mollema and Pichon.

You can have public "talks" but no actual offers can be made.
