This year's Fleche Wallonne features a tough circuit that includes three passages of the Mur de Huy. The winner should be whoever is the fastest up the wall. I would like to get a top 25
The Race
After 50 km, a breakaway group was finally established. It included: De Vreese of TopSport, Roswell of NetApp, Golas of Omega-Pharma, Boeckmans of Vacansoleil, Van Leijen of Lotto, Tuft of Orica, Izagirre of Euskatel, Van Goolen of Accent-Jobs, Sergant of Radioshack, and Houle of AG2R
At around 100 km to go, the peloton hit the Mur for the first time. The breakaway had a 5 minute gap.
With 55 km to go, the riders hit the Mur for the second time. The gap was larger than it looked, as the break had a 2 minute advantage.
At around the 20 km to go mark the break was hauled back by the charging peloton.
The Canadian Ryder Hesjedal opened up the attacks with a move a few kilometers after the break was caught.
Gilbert made the next serious move, getting a gap with Gerrans before being brought back with 5 km to go.
With 3 km to go, Dan Martin tried a move, but Uran's pace making was too fast for the Irishman to get away.
With 1 km to go Uran launched his fellow Colombian, and it would come down to Valverde and Henao. Could Sergio pick up another win?
Yes he could! Another great win for Henao, and Uran hold on fourth! Valverde is second, and Hesjedal round out the podium. I finish in the top 25 in 23rd place.
Stage Results
1 | Sergio Henao | Sky Procycling | 4h39'59 | 2 | Alejandro Valverde | Movistar Team | + 11 | 3 | Ryder Hesjedal | Garmin - Sharp | s.t. | 4 | Rigoberto UrĂ¡n | Sky Procycling | s.t. | 5 | Diego Ulissi | Lampre - Merida | s.t. | 6 | Peter Sagan | Cannondale Pro Cycling | s.t. | 7 | Rinaldo Nocentini | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | 8 | Daniel Martin | Garmin - Sharp | s.t. | 9 | Bauke Mollema | Belkin Pro Cycling Team | s.t. | 10 | Philippe Gilbert | BMC Racing Team | s.t. ... | 23 | Ian Boswell | Sky Procycling | s.t. |
Post Race Comments- Another day, another win. Not much more to say, team plan went perfectly. The next race for me is L-B-L and the goal is to get the triple.
See You Then- Ian

wogrus: Well, I find the Ardennnes really easy to win, and I had the strongest team
baia: Ian will get more chances in the second half of the season, but he will get to go in breaks at the Giro.
MrTeamSky: Thanks, PCM does what PCM wants to do
sutty68: He definitely is
Miguel98: We will need those if he is to get the triple
The fourth monument of the year is a 261 km hilly race in Belgium. The race should be decided on the last few hills in the final 50 km. Henao goes for the Ardennes triple, and the team will do anything they can to help him.
The Race
Kiryenkia represented the team in the break today. He was joined eight other riders. A some of the riders: Gusev, and Willems.
With 100 km to go the gap is down to 4 minutes, and the bunch is flying under the pace of Movistar and Europcar.
The was caught at 45 km to go, and Gilbert soon opened the attacks with a poor move that was unsuccessful.
With 35 km to go, Peter Sagan launched a violent attack and he just flew away and kept extending his gap despite our whole team being on the front.
With 10 km to go, Sagan still leads by 2 minutes over the next group that contains: Uran, Henao, Gilbert, Hesjedal, and Voeckler.
At the four km to go mark Sagan has cracked! Hesjedal is second on the road 30 seconds back. Another 15 seconds back is the group that contains Henao. Would the Slovakian hold on?
Peter Sagan takes his first career Monument! The Slovakian holds on by 21 seconds over a charging Henao. Hesjedal falls apart in the final kilometer, fading to third. Voeckler finishes fourth and Gilbert fifth.
I cross the line almost five minutes down in 26th place.
Something went wrong with the export, sorry
Post Race Comments- What a ride by Sagan! That man is a monster, as he takes Liege-Bastonge-Liege with 35 km solo ride! He deserved the win today. Still a good ride from Sergio today. My next race is the Tour of Romandie, where I will target the KOM jersey.

We bring the bulk of our Giro team to this 6 day stage race in Switzerland. The race starts with a prologue, followed by three medium mountain stages. The last two days should decide the GC. The first is a big mountain stage, and the final stage is a 20 km flat Time Trial. I'm a free element in this race and I will target the KOM jersey.
Tour of Romandie Prologue
The prologue of this year's Tour of Romandie starts with a prologue of seven kilometers. The first five are at a slight ascent, and the last two are at a very steep grade. It should go to a climber who can ride a prologue. I hope for a top 15 finish.
The Race
Andy Schleck set the best early time. He ended up in 32nd place on thr day.
Pozzovivo was the first rider to surpass Schleck, besting the Luxembourger's time by 10 seconds, finishing with a time of 14 01.
Tanel Kangert was the first rider to finish inside 14 minutes. The Estonian rode the course in 13 59.
Kangert's time was still on top when I started my short ride, and I felt great from the start.
As I crossed the line, I looked up, and I was shocked by what the timer said. I had finished only a tenth of a second behind Kangert!
The team's next rider to finish was by good friend Joe Dombroski. It is great to be racing together again. He rode the course 2 seconds slower than me today.
Tibaut Pinot was the man to dethrone Kangert. He set the new best time at 13 57.
The Frenchman's time didn't last very long, as Rafal Majka bested Pinot's time by 7 seconds.
The next rider to finish was Jurgen Van Den Broeck. He rode the prologue one second faster than Majka, finishing at 13 50.
Wiggo finished a few riders later. He crushed the course setting a remarkable time of 13 26 on the stage! He even passed his minute man Matt Goss near the finish line.
Alberto Contador was the last rider to finish, and he didn't come close to Wiggo's time, finishing with a time of 13 49.

Post Race Comments- What a ride from Bradley Wiggins today! No one even came close today, and he takes his first time-trial victory of the season on his first try. I rode a good ride today, finishing in 13th place. Tomorrow I will go into the break to get some KOM points and hopefully get the jersey.
