Today we race the first stage of the Valley of the sun Stage Race. We hope for a good result!

Zirbel rides the first good time: 32'25"

Vermeltfoort is the first one of Cyclingteam De Rijke-Shanks who starts. He set a good time: 32'47"

We have a podium place and our sprinter with the best shape, Yoeri Havik, haves a gap of 46" at Schumacher. There are 58 bonification second so Havik can win this race.

SSJ2Luigi:Yes, i hope that havik wins. Vermeltfoort can better but he didn't have a good shape. I hope he will do better in the next Time trial's

We are ready to start the stage. We hope we can get the stage win and bring Havik (or Trussov) closer to the GC-win.

Barker wins the sprint. Wilson is second and Havik thirth. The breakaway has 20 seconds, and Havik begun with sprint but he was to late.

It was close but Angelo Furlan wins. We are second and thirt. Our plan for the next stage: One lead-out+sprinter and more speed for the final sprint with the sprinttrain.

Sutty68:Yes, Trussov and Havik were leading the sprint when at 200m Furlan Goes faster and won. Next stage we try to win with Trussov because he can win the GC

Today we race stage 3 and the final stage of the New Sealand Cycle classic. We hope we can get a stage win and maybe the GC. Our importest mission is: Getting in form for the Tour de Langkawi and the Belgian classics.

There is a breakaway! The riders are Polivoda, Davis, McCarthey, Carpenter and Putt. They have a gap of 1'39"at the peloton. But in the GC the stands all at 3'00" or more.

Havik is still leading. He haves a gap of 40". Is it enough for the stage and maybe the GC-win?

No! It was not enough! He get's back at 300m before the finish Sad. Averin wins the stage. And Schumacher the GC.

This race could better. We have at each stage a podium place, but we hoped for a stage win. But we have the places 2-5 in the GC. We hope we race next year not in this race. We want to be PCT next year!

Sutty68:They are good in form. And Havik is by far the best sprinter but his form is at 75-80. I dont know the form of the other sprinters but Havik can win stages at the end if his form around the 90.
