Ok so that's all 5 pages read and I am all caught up
Great story so far and you are most certainly punching above your weight with the results so far. Lets hope you haven't peaked too early especially with the busiest part of your schedule still to come.
I know little about local teams & races but always find reading these stories interesting because it adds to my knowledge a little and from time to time makes me keep an eye out on the wider world of cycling aside from the Pro Tour!
@ Valor - Me too! It was pretty exciting and I think you are right! Nice aggressive riding by us seemed to pay off too!
@ Owen - Thanks, it means a lot! Sorry I've been going so fast, I cant stop playing this save (I've also not got much going on right now) In a month or two, I'll probably barely have any time to even play, part of the reason I started this now despite the final patch not being out.
I think honestly results could start to get a little better. Most riders I have to peak in late May or June/July as thats when our season goals are. A few for September too as the Tour Bohemia is late in the year.
That is also one of the things I love about smaller teams! I feel you get more attached to the riders, even if they aren't that great!

Today we have the first of 3 successive classics here in Russia, 3 days in a row! Today is a flat race and will favour those with a good sprint. We have brought most of our better sprinters here, but anything better than Top 5 would be amazing! We sit just outside of the Top 50 in the Conti standings coming into these 3 races so getting results are a must.
The stage went in typical flat stage fashion, but we had to put a few men on the front to really bring back the lone breakaway rider as we wanted to get the chase over with. Krotky has a good turn of speed but he's gone too early by the looks of it!
And just as I said, Krotky fell down to 11th, while Medek put in another great race grabbing the best result for the team! Vasylyuk took the win, he pulled out a nice gap with about 300m to go and no one could get close enough to grab his slipstream!

So now we have the toughest of the 3 classics to ride and although the hills aren't quite as steep as some of the races we've been to this year, it will still be very tough on the riders!
As we thought, it was a very demanding day! Nesveda was put into the breakaway who had no success on this day! After that the attacks came thick and fast with two riders forming the lead group on the road, Bosisio and Zakarin, Bosisio establishing himself as one of our main rivals after all these races he's performing well at! He continues that pattern with a win here, and a bit of a fun celebration too! Elaphillipe of Etixx had a great day, and Krotky managed to climb up to a 5th place thanks to the help of Kopecky who shielded his leader from the wind for most of the day, and then helped pace him in the final km's.

One major lineup change to the team! Martin Hunal is in for only his 3rd race day of the year! The sponsors were willing to pay to have him here, so its a no brainer, and the whole team is in Russia anyways as the next race on the schedule is in Russia too!
This stage came down to a sprint finish and Mugerli was the fastest of them all! Hunal had initially been following Trussov but switch to Manan's wheel while Krotky also took Trussov's wheel but couldn't keep up! Hunal did a great job in the sprint and finished in 4th place a great result after coming into the team like this! The hunt for as many CT points as possible continues and the points in these 3 races moves us back into the Top 50, for now anyway!
Great result, it's obvious that Medek is going to be a big thing. Krotky is maybe little bit overrated, but it doesn't matter, it's 1.2 races where almost everything is possible in real world.
Anyway, I have found this video, it was made for Sparta ice hockey club (you cycling geeks know what ice hockey is, right?). It's little bit too emotional, but still amazing. And I'm saying it although I'm not fan of THIS ice hockey club.

Some valuable top 5's for the team in the Russian classics, always good for the point totals. Hopefully this good form can be carried into the rest of the season

@ Jakstar - Thanks! As for the jersey, is a PCM08-12 jersey thats just been resized. I wouldn't suggest using it as a base at all Thanks if you do end up making the updated version though!
Spoiler
Ill definitely try. I will try and get my requests done nicely and quickly (but not so they aren't good) so that I can do your jersey (well try to) and not keep you waiting.
@ Valor - Yeah I think so! On this team anyway. And in that video I recognize one of the players! Peter Nedved! He played for my favourite NHL team, but I dont think many people liked him because of some of the things he did
@ FroomeDog - Exactly! I hope so as well!
@ Ian - Sure, but I want to win
@ Owen - Thank you! I hope we get a few more of those! Some nice money, and Conti points on top of that
@ Sutty - Thanks
@ Jak - Thank you! It doesn't have to be perfect, although Im sure dbs would like to have one since they've been using this new version irl for a few years now, but the PCM shirt hasn't been updated in forever.
The 5 Rings of Moscow is a 5 stage tour in and around Moscow, Russia! It consists of 2 hilly stages and 3 flat stages. The best bet to get a time gap is on stage 1 or 3 as those are the two hilly stages, but a breakaway could succeed on any of the days, so you've got to watch out for that!
Startlist
Zoidl is here and he is a monster. Great climber, solid hilly rider and actually a decent sprint! We've got to watch out for him, and as well as that he's been deemed the race favourite! Rusvelo has brought a strong squad and will likely be on the attack as often as possible. Tratnik is another rider to watch out for, as is Shpilevski.
Generally when we feel we have a weaker team we get into the break, so that is the explanation for why Dolezal was there today. He was joined by just one other rider from Sava for most of the day, Matej Razinger.
It wasn't immediately obvious because of these lesser races, timegaps aren't always as accurate, but the breakaway had a shot to stay away today for sure. With 25km to go, Luke Roberts and Denis Kostyuk made attacks from the peloton and slowly bridged the gap to the two leaders.
It was now obvious the break would stay clear and at 1.5km to go, Dolezal made his acceleration for the line! It looked like a good move, only Roberts could follow, but Roberts played the waiting game and came out of Dolezal's slipstream at the right time...
...And Roberts takes the 1st stage from a breakaway win! Dolezal holds on to 2nd place and David Jai Crawford grabs a few seconds over the peloton as well who finish nearly 2 minutes back!
Sorry for not commenting here until now. Awesome to see you return to the stories forum, and great team choice. It has been a pleasure following the first few pages of this!
The screens are stunning as always, and the results are impressive too, for such a small team. Haven't had this much fun reading a story in a while (don't take this the wrong way, other story writers).
PCM13's new victory animations makes the screens look even cooler, by the way. Oh, and these are my favourites so far:
