I resent the rolly eyes. I'll have you know my fine squad deserves to edge out every other underperforming side. No one flatters to deceive like the Aussie boys! |

Rider Rankings
Celbration time for Fabian Wegmann as he is confirmed as the winner of the Continental standings 2008. Jimmy Casper rises 7 places to 7th and will finish as the best ranked Sprinter this season, a ProTour team may well await him in 2009. Despite a puncture that could have ended his teams promotion hopes, Markus Zberg still rises to 13th, thanks to his stage win. The winner of the tour, Steven Caethoven is up to 16th. Grillo and Wiggins are also up places inside the top 30, while Janek Tombak is now in 29th.

Team Rankings
Tinkoff well be getting drunk on champagne tonight, their promotion to the ProTour has been expected for most of the season, but Caethoven's victory finally guarantees it. And Agritubel are favourites to join them now. Zberg's puncture cost Designa Kokken dear and the Danish team must now take victory in the Chrono des Herbiers to stand a chance going into the final race.
Landbouwkredit are up to 6th, moving past Wiesenhof. HealthNet's place in the top 10 is coming under serious pressure from DFL as the gap narrows to just 6 points.
The battle for 14th is still pretty close as 29 points seperate 14th and 17th. SouthAustralia are in 14th and are slightly pulling away, Slipstream are 15th but are just 2 points ahead of Nippo and 7 points ahead of Marco Polo.
