Kittel played that perfectly. Sit on Cavendish's wheel and power round in the last few meters. |

Froome may gain time on some of his rivals today due to the split
Froome can bump his GC lead to 15 minutes on the remaining stages if he wants to, so a few seconds gap wouldn't matter much |

Looks like EBH has cracked a collar bone. Was holding his collar/shoulder region passing the finish line, and seemed in pain.

Insane leadout from Steegmans and Cav failed to convert it. That's unusual. |

I think I'm going to go search last season's discussion of Kittel just to post the names of everyone who flamed me for saying he's top level

Great to see Kittel stepping it up - makes for some exciting times ahead. No complaints (except not having Greipel there today for entertainment too) he powered past.

Cavendish doesn't seem fit. Kittel and Greipel beating him is unsurprising, but Sagan was catching him there, which is very unusual. |

Kittel seems like a really nice guy. Either Cav is not 100% or Kittel is really really fast |

And I need to stop betting on Greipel. Everytime I bet on him he fails. |

Love how Liggett is a reverse predictor "Here comes Sagan and that's how you say goodbye to Corsica....oh no wait..."
"...and you don't catch Cavendish...oh no..." |

Haha yeah, Phil needs to stop trying to predict the future, he's getting up there in age.

Two questions:
Why were Vichot and two other FDJ guys sprinting around 1:40 behind and Vichot seemed to be happy with his sprint after the line?
Was Schleck in the crash? He came in with 5 other Radioshack guys and pointed on his head, like he tried to show them were he fell. Could of course showed them how he saw an other rider fall, as he seemed not hurt.

The first is almost certain and the second is a fact.

You can't take anything away from him he's beaten the worlds best 2 sprint stages on the bounce and both Cav and Greipel had the drop on him in terms of positioning too

Schleck is fine, he was caught behind the crash, not involved.

Being very picky Trentin should have swung off earlier rather than giving a minor tow to Kittel once he got seperated from Steegmans and Cav but we saw what can happen with that yesterday...
Better to applaud Kittel surfing the wheels then still having the power to come through from a bike length down. |
