Come on Seb you can do it!! Just so you know he is now my favourite Seb in the world...though the fact I hate Vettel and don't know any others helps! |

Settimana Coppi e Bartali - Stage 6
Welcome to the final Stage! Let's get right into the action of today's race:
Right after the start it was Keller who attacked first, and tryed to form a breakaway group. Quickly a group of 3 riders formed, and they started to create a gap between them and the peloton.

Shortly after 2 more riders joined the breakaway. With 100 km to go the gap was 6 minutes. Still the peloton was not concerned at all.
70 km to go: Astana finally decided to start chasing the breakaway leading by 7 minutes.
50 km to go: The breakaway still had a 6 minutes lead - looks like they might get trough today...
45 km to go: With the small roads the peloton got split into two mayor groups. Reichenbach managed to stay up front, and with Chavez (COL) in the second group he was virtually 3rd in the GC.
Reichenbach sees his opporturnity and orders Fumeaux and Gross to attack and move back into the first group, immediately forcing the tempo. But the groups merged shortly after, giving Chavez (COL) the chance to come to the front again.
35 km to go: Tissot still pushed the pace, and managed to rip the peloton into two again. The top 5 riders managed to stay in group 1, but ranks 6-10 were in group 2. Tissots tactic was clear: make sure nobody can overtake Reichenbach in the GC. And with the help of Astana they managed to keep the peloton off their back.
23 km to go: Wyss (IAM) attacks, Fuglsang (AST) and Cunego (LAM) follow. Reichenbach decided to stay in the peloton, as Fuglsang (AST) is just a few seconds ahead.
12 km to go: Wyss (IAM) reached the breakaway. The group with Reichenbach and Fuglsang (AST) are at the bottom of the final climb of this tour. Reichenbach kicks in a higher gear, while Cunego (LAM) and Dennis (GRS) attack. Chavez (COL) follows their attack, but they can't get away.
8 km to go: It's Fuglsang (AST) now in the lead. The top 5 riders are still together in one group.
4 km to go: Reichenbach forces the pace, leaving Chavez (COL) and Dennis (GRS) behind. Reichenbach has Keller on his side, working for him.
3 km to go: Chavez (COL) tryed to close the gap, but with Reichenbachs high tempo Chavez can't seem to close the gap.

1.5 km to go for the group: Chavez (COL) just reached the group, as Reichenbach launches his sprint. Cunego (LAM) passes him just on the line. But the question is: how much time will Chavez (COL) and Dennis (GRS) lose today?
The times are in, and Reichenbach misses the podium by just 4 seconds. Close call, but nonetheless a great result for Reichenbach.
He showed that he has what it takes to be the leader of this very young team, and we will certainly see more of him very soon.

Route Adélie de Vitré
Todays race is a constant up and down, and with the rain today, it's going to be a hard race. Let's see how Tissot will do today:
No luck for the breakaway today, as the peloton descides that they won't let them ride.
With Fumeaux and Gross controlling the pace it seemed that nobody could get ahead and stay there.
120 km to go: Tissot stops making the pace as Schelling desides to attack, and form a breakaway with a couple other riders.
100 km to go: Half the race is done, and the breakaway of 7 is continuously expanding their lead. It's now almost 4 minutes, and the group works well together.

60 km left: The breakaway is still running strong. Their lead is 3:40.
45 km to go: With the peloton closing in the gap shrunk to a little over 2 and a half minutes. It's Schelling who tries to force the tempo once more.
30 km left: The peloton is chasing hard. But with still 1:40 advance the breakaway beleives they can make it all the way.
Meanwhile in the Peloton it seems that Reichenbach is working for Gross today. We'll see what's going on there...
25 km to go: With just 1 minute advance Schelling realizes it's now or never. He once again ups the pace. If he wants to finish in front, he'll have to give it his all now, and just hope for the best.

But with 17 km left Schelling gets swallowed by the peloton. It seems it's all on Gross now.
10 km to go: Gross and Reichenbach are still in the leading positions on the peloton, with just Béard (ALM) in front.
5 km to go: Gross and Reichenbach manage to create a little gap between them and the chasing peloton. It's all eyes on the finish line now for them. Fingers crossed that they can keep that pace.

2.5 km to go: Reichenbach prepares the sprint for Gross. They are right between Béard (ALM) who is 48 seconds ahead, and the peloton chasing with 50 seconds.
But Gross is just too spent and can't hold on to Reichenbachs sprint. Still, he manages to finish as brilliant third today.

Vuelta a la Rioja
Today it's the last race of the group before their season break. Will they end it with a great result, or will they just ride it home with no ambitions?
Right from the start Schelling attacked and moved in front of the field. He quickly managed to create a gap between him and the rest of the riders.
One rider after another started to attack and join Schelling on this quest for today's breakaway. So a group of 8 riders formed.
They made quick work and expanded their lead quite fast to 5 minutes.
110 km to go: The gap widened and the 8 riders up front had a lead of 6 minutes.
80 km to go: The lead got cut down to 4 minutes. Still the breakaway looked good and hopeful to finish storng today.
50 km to go: With the gap slowly melting it doesn't seem that the group will make it today.
20 km to go: Fumeaux attacks from the peloton, trying to close the gap. But the peloton just rides too fast for him to stay up front.

5 km to go: It's going to be a mass sprint. But non of Tissot will be able to sprint for the vicotry today, as they are not placed well.

Now it's time for the second group of riders to show what they've got.
Maybe they have more luck to ride to the top |

That win has to come soon! I think maybe not use a rider in the breakaway so much and just have him act as protector/lead out for Seb. It seems they usually get caught anyway and poor seb doesnt have much of a lead out train usually so im sure he would be glad of the extra support. |

True, but currently I'm trying out different tactics, and testing the riders individually, especially in "unimportant" races I don't usually ride for a victory, but more to see how each rider will help me in different situations.
In the last race it was Reichenbach who protected Gross for the whole race, but still he was much stronger in the finish than Gross. I think I could have won that race with Reichenbach if I'd have rode with him... |

Circuit des Ardennes International - Stage 1
Welcome to Juniville where the second ground of Tissot will have their debut. Let's see if they can keep up with the results of their collegues, or even exeed them...
And it was Wölfi who showed himself first. He attacked early on to catch up with a breakaway that formed right at the start.

100 km to go: The gap is slowly melting, but it's still 6 minutes, that might be enough for the group of 8 if they work well together.
50 km to the finish line: The breakaway manages to keep 3 minutes between them and the chasing peloton. It's going to be a close call if they still want to make it.
30 km: It's just 2 minutes now. Looks like they won't be able to go all the way.
Menwhile in the peloton it's Pache who tryes an attack. He managed to get away, but was pulled back rather quickly.
With 10 km left, Wölfi get's caought be the peloton, his form simply isn't up to par with the other riders from the breakaway yet.
2 km to go: The breakaway has only a couple seconds left, but they will finish in front of the peloton. Looks like the peloton will sprint nonetheless, and it's Hofstetter who positioned himself well for a good sprint finishing as 12th.

1. Grivell-Mellor
2. Archbold +33
3. Arashiro +45
...
12. Hofsteller +53
(sorry, forgot to export... )

Circuit des Ardennes International - Stage 2
Today Tissot took a back ride, not doing much in the race. Looks like they are still building up their form and don't have the legs to show anything at the moment.
Menanwhile a breakaway formed rather quickly. But with an attentive peloton the group never got too far ahead.
30 km to go: The breakaway still has 2 minutes lead. But there is one steep climb left, short but very steep.
5 km to go: Once again, the breakaway could make it with a gap of just a few seconds. Hofstetter still is in a good position for the final sprint, taking the wheel of Zabel (RB3).

2.5 km to the line for the peloton: And the sprint is off: Hofstetter still has Zabels wheel. With 2 km to go he starts his sprint. Hofstetter is fast today! Making up a lot of ground to the former breakaway, Jules (LPM) takes todays win, but the second place is still up for grabs.
Hofstetter flyes by like a rocket! He's in second place now.

But watch out. There's Arashiro (EUC) and Jaques-Maynes (JSH) coming very quickly form behind... But Hofstetter makes it! Second place for the young swiss. And yet another second place for Tissot. Looks like they collect second places...

Circuit des Ardennes International - Stage 3
Today it's the Team Time Trial.
With only Pache as a decent TT rider the team didn't have any ambitions for todays stage. Just to keep the damage within bounds.

But today was not the teams day, as they finished as second to last team.
Looks like the team will have to train some more TTTs in the future.
