Wtf thought harmon was doing the tour ,it's that idiot Kirby
Yeah so did I. Harmon has had some personal issues lately (battling Depression) so may not feel up to it. But I wouldn't be surprised if Harmon comes in later, once we get closer to the finish. Commentating for 5-6 hours straight for three weeks would be relaly hard on the vocal chords.
He initially planned to do the Tour, even tweeting last month about looking forward to it, however it looks as if he's not up to it.
Shame, but Kirby has been getting a lot better recently, I'm quite happy with him now. (But I'd take Harmon any day)
Yeah I just went through a number of twitter threads and it looks like he isn't up to it. It is a shame and I hope he gets well soon.
I'll be sticking with Eurosport until the Australian coverage starts in just over an hour. Then it is time for my annual game of how-many-times-will-Phil-and-Paul-make-me-swear-at-the-TV?
Rather than swear at them, laugh at them. Thats how I cope!

I have a lot of anger to work out, okay?
I've had it on mute but I'm going to turn the commentary back on now. I need a beer for this.

First little psychological blow for Greipel there, though Cav really didn't look like he was digging there.

None of them really went.
Boom did brilliantly to get across to Flecha to collect full points. |

Cav didnt look like he cared. Yellow jersey far more important than 4 odd points in the maillot verde classification. |

Kirby claims to be from the South Riding of Yorkshire. There is no South Riding, its just South Yorkshire
Not much going on so far, only an hour or so to go though. |

The Radioshack helmets and bikes look hideous.

The Specialized Aero helmets are still the ugliest part equipment in the peloton...

Must be confident that Andy has turned a corner and he has some form for them to all be at the front. Interesting. |

RadioShack really are going well Liggett claims Talansky is riding for them on the front of the pack.

Recruiting as they go!
Crazy speeds, there doesn't seem to be any wind but they are stretching this out!

The last 6km are really, really technical and there are narrow roads along it, so expect a big crash near the end.

I can't stop hoping the whole Sky team gets crushed on the run in by a giant Monty Python foot.
So it begins.
It was eleven more than necessary.
