I don't know it this has been asked, but for those that have completed season 1 on career, is there variants for season 2? I know there is 2 versions of Dauphine, tdf and Romandie in Stage Race but now sure if thats in career... |

If it's in CM_stages, which it is, it will be in career, yes. |

In my Garneau-Quebecor career I was 14 Super Prestige pts away from promotion after I got the two beasts I signed from u23 came to the team as trainees. I won the Route of Elk Grove tt and got 5th in the other stages finishing 3rd in GC. In the Tour of Utah I got second in GC and held yellow until the final MT Stage. I also won a stage. In USA Pro won 2 stages, points and KOM after a solo on the only mt stage. I then got 4th in tour of Britain GC after winning 2 stages.
Unfortunately I only got the ability to sign other pros after the WCs so all the riders had already signed contracts with other teams.

I have a question for those a bit further advanced in their career. Does it have any effect if you don't send your riders to the races your give them as goals? For instance if I want someone to peak for the Vattenfall Cyclassics, Plouay and Canada but he doesn't approve and I give him the Vuelta as a goal instead, but then let him ride the classics, will it affect his happiness in any way?

It makes some sense, as it disables exploit of changing plans during season (like e.g. first Giro plan, then switch to 0 training plan to remove fatigue and then another switch to Vuelta plan) and forces you to plan riders' training in advance. Only bad thing about this may be when you e.g. have a crash early in your goal GT and would like prepare for another one, which wasn't planned before (like Hesjedal this year, if he finished Giro, he probably wouldn't start in Tour). |

But in the old system you were limited by the number of race days to prevent you from exploiting many changes in plan. But you could change it if you did not get a wild card or someone was ill or injured.
Now with that being not possible one injury can ruin an entire season, and make that rider unhappy because he did not ride his goal race.
I've played many a career on previous PCM's where i've had 5-6 different riders injured or ill at various points in a season, but it was never a problem as you could re-plan their season so they peaked later on. Now if that happens there is nothing that can be done, and that is not good. Especially as the AI now seems to be able to compete in August/September/October races.

Just ended up 9th in the Vuelta a Mallorca overall.
Rotson Wendel a young gun from my custom american team ended up higher than Quintana, Casar, Anton, Van den Broeck...
The sponsors wanted a top-5 though :-( |

Started up a Cannondale career while waiting for the PCM.daily DB. Sagan will be targeting the Classics and Tour, with Caruso and Basso covering stage races.
Immediately won the TDU with Canuti thanks to a breakaway win on stage 1, and Viviani won 2 stages. Enjoying it so far, minus the bugged game |

I just played my first PCM stages since 5 months
Lotto in Catalunya. Greipel + 4 guys, VDB + 2. Extreme mode as always
In the first stage, the break was caught with 5k to go, my train worked perfectly, and thanks to Cav being blocked, it was an easy win to get back into the rythm.
Second stage went the same, but this time, both OPQS leadouts blocked Greipel, so Henderson actually was my best finisher in 6th.
First mountain stage, VDB easily followed the Saxo pace, and with no successful attacks, it was fourth place with a small gap to Conta, Purito and Piti due to the sprint.
Overall a good start, even though I didn't try to spot differences and just treated it as if it was PCM12 to get my strategies working again.
And mind you I'm the happiest man on earth!
PCM 12 on my old PC worked only with lowest details, and it still lagged here and there.
PCM 13 on my new laptop works like a charm on absolutely FULLEST DETAILS

With a complete career not playable yet, I was looking for some challenges that don't get messed up by bugs.
Well, after I saw Sagan's stats, it was a very easy decision what my first challenge would be...
(extreme mode of course )

In July I signed a couple of riders for next season. However, looking at the finances when entering August, it seems like the new riders are already om my wagebill! The "rest balance" has been lowere by approx 10.000€ every month, but know it has suddenly raised to 50.000€ a month.. Sure my Sojasun-squad will be bankrupt in 2 months time.. |

Have simmed one sim to test a few things.
And as always some very weird transfers...but at least no star or good rider was a free agent after the season.
Here some examples:
Van den Broeck and Van Garderen switch teams
Voeckler -> FDJ
Cavendish -> Movistar
Wiggins -> Movistar
Sky -> disband
Kittel -> Sky (National Bing)
Rodriguez -> OPQS
Sagan -> RadioShack
Contador -> RadioShack
Gallopin -> MTN
Evans -> NetApp
Majka -> NetApp
True. Not all of them are totally weird. But in especially the Movistar and NetApp transfers are imo. |

Some weird transfers, but at least most stay WT and don't go to Accent Jobs |

So did Netapp promote? Because if so certainly signing Majka isn't too weird as he isn't an established leader anywhere.

They were 3rd best PCT team...
So still PCT. So they have a nice duo for the smaller races and wildcards then. This only if those riders will race some races different to recent PCM`s where they often stayed at 10-20 race days...
Accent Jobs btw. got Poels. |
