You can bet on other guys each stage.
You gather the points you use for betting with the team you chose at the start.
Amount of points you get from team results are listed in the 4th post.

1 small addition: odds can be found in the preview of the stage and in post 4. Best through PM

Woooohooo!
EXACTLY what I was hoping for.
We'll surely lose a minute tomorrow, but the way PCM12 works, Degenkolb might be back in Pink until the ITT.
None of the hilly stages should prove to be too difficult to at least hang on, with all but stage 4 giving us a chance to get involved in the sprint.

Lampre totally passed away of that first stage. Let's hope we can react in later stages. |

Betting is actually quite simple: you send me a PM which contains the person on who you bet and how many points you want to use. Every stafe everyone gets a points extra, so you can always bet. You currently have 23 points to bet.

Note: the rest who did bet, but without scoring points: everyone gets a point to bet every stage, so you can always keep on betting. If you want to be the winner in the end, you must have betted at least 30 points.

Ischia-Forio
Welcome to stage 2. In this stage, each squad will ride for itself in a team time trial. This time trial is very hilly, but very short, so the differences in the General shouldnt become too large. Starting order is based on the ranking of teams yesterday.
The first team to start is Colombia-Coldeportes. They set the benchmarks at both the interchrono and the finish. At the intermediate time check, their time is 11:35. This is immediately beaten by IAM. At the finish, the benchmark is 25min54.

The third team to start is dangerous: Radioshack-Leopard. They are not even a second faster than IAM. At the line, IAM has weakened and Radioshack takes the lead from Colombia with 39 seconds.

Vacansoleil surprises and is faster at time check 1. At the line, they hold off Radioshack with less than a second! A great performance!

This intermediate time is crushed by BMC immediately. At the finish, they take over the lead with 24min57.

A bit later, Astana sets off. They lose 4 seconds to BMC at time check 1. At the finish, this has grown to 51 seconds!

The next outsider to start is Blanco. They also lose 4 seconds at time check 1. At the finish line, this is 1 second less.

The next team is Saxo-Tinkoff. They weirdly also lose 4 seconds at time check 1. At the finish line, they needed 9 more seconds than BMC.

The next team to start is Argos-Shimano, with maglia rosa Degenkolb. At time check 1, the difference is 14 seconds loss. At the finish, this is 35. The maglia rosa is lost for Argos.

A bit later, top favorite for today Sky also sets off. They take 1 second off the time of BMC at the intermediate time check. They take over the lead at the finish, with a difference of 4 seconds.

Just started has world champion Omega Pharma. They lose 12 seconds to Sky at the time check. At the finish, this is 55 seconds.

Next up is Garmin. They lose 9 seconds to Sky at the time check. On the line, this is 21 seconds.

The last team to start today is Orica-GreenEdge. At time check 1, they already lost 21 seconds. At the finish line, this is 37 seconds.

That means Sky wins today. The maglia rosa is for Cataldo.
