Very bad race from us, our two riders being on last places fro mthe riders that never lost time, we have some three points coming from the race. Nobody joins the break, just bad from Metinvest.
Congrats to Kenya again ,they are owning with HTC here, Armee is the new Hoffman here.

Armee at least has solid hill stats. ;-)
Don`t forget Jaguar. Not ideal to change leadership but two in top 5 is fine I guess. |

With nationality bonus, i think Hoffman was something like 70 hill effectively, so pretty close. It seems that African hilly races are not decisive enough. A bit shame ,but chance for us, teams without star punchers.

I thought this would be a big disappment after the 5th stage but a stage win, 2nd and 10th in the GC is much more than i had hoped for, especially in such a strong field.

What the?! How did my team manage to screw up that sprint?
That being said - I don't know too much about the points rankings, but with Reimer taking the bonus seconds I guess it's not too bad that I missed out on another stage win, considering the fact that he climbs to steps on the GC ranking.
Shame to miss podium, but oh well. OK race for Vueling. |

Had expected a top 5 at least for Lo Cicero at the last stage here, after his strong first stage, but he is very unpredictable
Meyin Wang 20th GC is good, too bad Tamayo Martinez didn't keep up with him.
HTC and Kenya Airways the big winners here, congratulations! |

Very, very bad race for us Metinvest, 9 points from it if i am counting all right, that is not a lot.
Nice reports Roturn, but the race was boring as hell and almost 30 riders on same time, with only stage ranking and bonus seconds deciding the GC.
Congrats to HTC, it seems that Armee surprise + cobbles with some Marquez results can save them in the division (which they will win in three years at last).

Well, that improved my race a bit, we went from total failure to just failure. Too bad Ben Nasser couldn't get the win though.
Congrats Alakagom and thanks for the reports roturn.

Well that was one of the worst races this season for us. Total waste of race days.
Thanks roturn, your reports were excellent.

That final stage could have gone alot better, 20th on GC isn't much but it would have been nice none the less.
The only positive I can take out of that is atleast it wasn't in Asia.

Wow, what a surprise win for us, like what the hell, loving every minute of it. 2 races so far raced in April and both we did great, hope this continues. Lijke, Maar and Armee is a good combo for us so far! Thanks for the great reports Roturn And thanks everyone. And a banana at the end

Good to get the KOM from this race. One of the last races we chose to enter - so hoped for something like this from it. Montaguti did ok too.
Cheers for the reports too, roturn.

Well at least I got my goal. Unfortunately its a waste of time having the best rider in a hilly stage race such as this in PCM12. Thanks for the reports roturn, just hard to get enthusiastic about them given the way it played out!

Great report's Roturn. Congrat's to HTC and Alak on the win. And one word: Khalilikroshani. How close was I without copy pasting to write that name right? Kenya, the danger of the CT division. |

Just ban everyone who finishes above you from the site. That'll get you promoted. |

Sad to see Khalilikhosroshani fall a place overall, but this race still went pretty perfectly tbh. Thanks for the reports Roturn |
