If you want to do a liveticker(If I understand correct, that's with multiple posts?) then it's fine for me too.
I just want the report asap now
I don't know I think there would be multiple posts but I can update some so there aren't to many
Ok, fine. I don't mind multiple posts, as long as it aren't about 20
Wow. 71 screenshots. I hope they are jpg. otherwise it will take some time to load them. Looking forward to the report, hope my team did well.

Welcome to the first edition of the criterium of Santander I am Bikex and I will guide you through todays race, which is raced on a circuit in Santander thats about 7,6 kilometres long and will be rode 20 times. The most difficult part is a little hill inside the lap with a slope from about 7 %.
Romain Feillu
Surely the top favourite the best sprinter with no akward hill abilities.
Karl Hammarling
A decent sprinter and hilly rider.
Chris Sutton
Hammarlings team mate another one for the win
Daniele Benatti
The third of Caterhams dangerous trio is an oldy
Julien Simon
A contender for the win
Samuel Love
The people of Santander pray for him as he is from the home team
Gerald Ciolek
Ex German champion Ciolek can grab the win
Daniel Oss
Italians hope
Elia Viviani
Italians hope number two riding in a swiss suite
Lloyd Mondory
Definately a win candidate if he didnt eat to much bacon
Any Guy in a breakaway
Since teams havent that much rider to chase the breakaway down
And lots of others of course
I took the favourites from the PCM favourites list so blame them Jesleyh
On this picture you can also see our headquarter where I am sitting and writing for you about the race
The full startlist
I looking forward to see how the race turns out to be!
And it's Nybö to attack
What can we expect from him will he have a chance to win the race, well it is a little bit early to make a prediction since only one round is raced and there are still 19 to go but by now he has already an advantage of 1.35 minutes and nobody decided to go with him. Can he hold out to the end all by him self?
No he won't have to!!
Tom Jelte Slagter and Glenn Allan Chadwick are following in the break and manage to join Nybö in the front. They already created a gap of 3.25 minutes so it seems clear that they are the break of the day!
In the peloton it is first Dominos to define the pace in the peloton then Motorex joins them and finally Cafe Colombia decides to help them as they want Feillu to win
With 100 kilometres to go the BotD is 5 minutes in front
The highest advantage the Breakaway could get was with 84 kilometres to and 6 minutes and 23 seconds after ten more kilometres the advantage already decreased to 5 minutes
With 40 kilometres to go the advantage decreased to two minutes and fifty seconds
But all of a sudden Cafe Colombia stops working for the pace! Does that mean the breakaway gets a freeride for the win?
With 28 kilometres to go they changed their decision and started to increase the pace when the Portuguese rider of our TAP team decided to launch an attack
Damn PCMDaily!
I was just posting another refreshing of the Live ticker and suddenly I was logged out now I will have to write it again
long story short Machado bridges the gap to the breakaway but when he arrives it they suddenly all start to decrease their speed -> Machado gets reeled in by the peloton all the others attck and Slagter manages to create a gap over the others
The last kilometres
Chadwick pulled off from Nybö who is back in the pack now
10 kilometres to go:
Slagter -23-> Chadwick -18->Peloton
The first who lost the tail of the hardpaced peloton are Loddo and Pietropolli
I think it wasn't a good idea to make the report like i did too many pictures and cant find the ones I am looking for, all is a mess but never mind I will carry on
Now we get to the final round, Chadwick is caught, 7 kilometres to go and there is another attack from TAP-Michelin the race funk informs us its Lieuwe Westra he can easily bridge the gap to Slagter who was alone in front.
They got an advantage of 31 seconds at 6 kilometres to go will it be enough?
No!
They are very fast reeled in but with 3.2 kilometres to go Westra starts another attack this time followed by Millar (Pure Black) and alltime-champion Danny Pate (Dominos)!
With 2 kilometres to go Westra is the first to start the sprint they got an advantage of 27 seconds to the peloton
Just a little moment after that Feillu starts the sprint from the pack he creates a huge gap pretty fast but can he manage to oversprint the leading trio?
With 1300 metres to go Westra is done he has used all his energy and Pate moves out of his slipstream it lokks like he is flying he propably is
Under the flame rouge pate flew already to the front Westra still behind him trying to find some last power to use and behind him is Millar trying to oversprint Westra Feillus still in far distance it seems like he wont catch the others except if he can mobilize superpowers
With 500 hundred meters to go Feillu has managed to create a huge gap over the pack the leading trio is already feeling his sweaty breath in their necks where Millar just tries to get past Westra
Feillu looses speed and wont be able to fight for the win anymore and Pate seems like the winner but who is going to be second?
Its Millar Westra is third who will be fourth can Feillu keep his advantage?
Yes he can:
Elia Viviani completes the top five
As the winner Danny Pate is now off distracting some podium girls it's the moment that makes their live special, for those who are interested in the background I am waving out of the window

I think the post is yet to be edited again, but it's nice to see three of our guys there!
Also, a 32 year old man is not an oldy ( )
edit: Yay, I was right
also: Why is Bennati not "Italians hope" ?

Can i give you some suggestion about reporting? Well firstly you don't need to put a pick of every single favourite, you could write something like "In this flat stage the favourites are ... (and may do some considerations)". Then you have to report only the most important action of the race like the guys in the breakaway, the fight for KoM or intermediate sprint, some attack by the fvourites or other rider (just the decisive one, not every single one otherwise there would be too many). Plus as this is an unknown race you could put a preview of it and describe it. You could check some stories or some report of Man-Game: you could understand more what i'm saying |
