I HATE DIRT!!!!
Hello cycling fans from all around the world. Yesterday I rode my second race of the year, the Strade Bianche. Typical about this race is that it has some dirt roads. I never raced on dirt before, so it was quite a experience. And some of my family members came watching me, because San Marino is close to Italy. I started the race very good, but when the first dirt road ame, I lost contact with the peleton. And I didn't manage to come back.Instead, I dropped back a lot. I finished 121th position (of 123 finishers) almost 10 minutes behind winner Gasparotto. I was so angry when I finished, I decided that I'll never race dirt races ever again........

Actually there were only 122 riders because one rider behind him was my custom rider |

Milano - Sanremo
Startlist:
A. Petacchi
D. Cunego
M. Pelucchi
D. Cimolai
S. Colbrelli
E. Favilli
D. Ratto
S. Penarossa
The first monument of the season. We come here with a full Italian squad, although S. Penarossa is from San Marino, which is almost Italy. Our leaders for the race will be A. Petacchi if it comes to a mass sprint and D. Cunego who might be able to get away on the Poggio.
Stage:
La Primavera, the first 'Monument' of the season. Our team rode a very silent race, although Silvio Penarossa was given a special mention when he dropped out of the peloton just before the Cipressa. He is the first Sammarinese to ride, and finish, Milano - Sanremo. This time Milano - Sanremo was an edition for the sprinters. The pace on the Poggio wasn't very hard, which was kind of disappointing. A. Greipel won the sprint, A. Petacchi finished 11th, which is a result with mixed feelings, because we feel he could do a lot better.
Rider of the race:
A. Petacchi

I HATE GOING UPHILL!!!!
Hello cycling fans from all around the world. Last week I decided I hate dirt and I will never race on it again. This time I will tell everyone I hate going uphill. I rode the Tirreno-Adriatico last week, my first ever WT-event. However, ther were moutains in the route, and I'm very bad uphill. In the first stage (TTT) Bulgari finished 10th, 30 seconds behind the winner. But I lost more than 20 minutes in the second stage, which was hilly. In the third stage I lost 8 minutes to the winner. In the first mountain stage I even lost almost 45 minutes. The next stages I lost more and more time. My team-mate Landa managed to win a stage, so congratulations to him. The last stage was a time-trial, my speciality. But all those mountains did something to me, I finished in 61th place. I finished 160th in the GC, more than 2 hours behind winner Froome. My next race in Milano-Sanremo. A one day-race, so I can give everything.
See you next time

Critérium International
Startlist:
D. Cunego
J. Castroviejo
G. César Veloso
E. MartÃnez
R. Bardet
B. Jungels
N. Oliveira
S. Penarossa
We'll be going to France with big ambitions for Damiano Cunego. Depending on the competition we are aiming for either a podium place or a top 5 place in the GC. We have no intentions for the flat stage, but hopefully we can get a good result in the TT.
Stage 1:
First stage, which resulted in the expected sprint. Having no sprinter present, we didn't expect anything. D. Cunego was our best finisher in 18th place.
Stage 2:
With a stage favourite in our team, J. Castroviejo, we expected a good result in the TT. However, it was not Castroviejo that brought us the result, but a great, surprising, ride from G. César Veloso. He finished 2nd while leading a long time.
Stage 3:
D. Cunego was to do big things in the mountain stage of this year's Critérium International, but he fell short of a good result. Finishing in a big group 1 minute behind the winner, he finished 13th in the GC. Not what we expected from him.
Rider of the race:
G. César Veloso

Startlist:
M. Moser
D. Ratto
S. Agostini
J. Vermote
E. Sanz
J. Castroviejo
B. Jungels

This year's Driedaagse doesn't have cobbles, so we are sending Moreno Moser to try and get some good stage and GC results. We think the TT will have a huge impact on the GC, so we are sending our best Time-Trialists to Belgium.

Voeckler is already home by then.
Some other climber isn't though.
I hate that we don't use the real(2013) version of De Panne, those are fake stages. I want cobbles!

I CAME ON TV!!!!
Hello cycling fans from all around the world. I rode in Milano-Sanremo some time ago. I was the first San Marinese cyclist ever to do this. It was not a very good race for me. I got dropped at the Cipressa and finished almost last. But i'm used to that now, so it doesn't hurt me that much. Nevertheless I'm very happy about. Not due to the results, but due to the fact I was showed on international television. While riding in a small group behind the peleton, a motorcyclist with a cameraman drove past me while airing. My family was watching on tv and called me immediately after the race to tell me I was on tv. I thought they made a joke. My mother thought she recorded it, but there was a small error in that. After a long search, I finally found some footage of myself. I'm in the middle of this picture:

I WAS THE LEADER!!!!
Hello cycling fans from all around the world. I rode in the Criterium International this weekend, and i have some good news. For the first time ever I was the provisional leader in a stage. Well, i left as second, so it wasn't that hard. Unfortunately, no photographers were present so early in the time trial, and my time was beaten very quickly. My team-mate Veloso rode a very good time-trial. Leading until a stupid Hungariancame along. So he finished second, which is still great. In the other 2 stages in France i just rode in the peleton and behind them, so it was quite a nice race for me. My next race is in Belgium, where I ride near De Panne.
See you next time

It might be hard, but we hope to realise a top 10 in the GC here in the Basque Country. We think Moreno Moser could be able to achieve it. We send an almost fully Spanish team here who could be able to get some great stage results.
