How did you not score any KoM or Sprint points! Thats a real surprise...
Also tempted to ask that you use TLI's full company names, but i'm not evil

Well they were too lazy to get in any breakaways, hence not much of a chance of picking up points
I would use the teams full name but with the long rider name it screwed up the layout

sutty: Well they certainly got the job done on stage 1. It will be esciting to see how a race as tough as Tirreno will pan out but I'm almost more excited to see what the P-N team can achieve. Feels like it can be more or less anything between a good GC and absoloutely nothing...

This race and this stage in particular was the first big aim of the season for the team. And what an achievement by the boys!
Everything was fairly close at the start, but on the last half of the race my team really proved themselves winning the stage and putting Chris in a good position for the rest of the race.
Obviously yesterdays win made the other teams expect us to chase down the break.
And we did our job keeping them within a reasonable distance, but the race isn't over yet and we haven't got ant rider in Italy suited for a finish like this so we couldn't be bothered to do more than keep them within a distance we can easily win back in the next five stages.
A few angry teams around there, but they can't expect us to do all the work to get them a win. After all we could easily need that energy later on in the race...
After losing the leaders jersey yesterday the team was back in a free role with no expectations on this stage.
Martin Mortensen was selected for the squad for two reasons: Partly to help win the TTT and partly because he would be a good man to get in a break on one of these stages. Two missions accomplished!
Unfortunately he didn't quite have the punch to win the stage, but a 4th and a day in the GC lead is a very nice reward for his work as well!
A day with lots of hard work and not much gain for the team.
Chris made sure not to lose a lot of time (which was more than Wiggins and nibali managed) and his 4th on the stage means good points and that he still has a shot at the GC!
The most important mountain stage of the race was kind of a disappointment for us.
The team did great, but Chris was way to passive, when Contador et al. started moving , which in the end forced Froome to spend more energy than should have been necessary and in the end losing half a minute on Contador. Unless he pulls something clever out of the hat it could very well be the GC that disappeared today...
Stage 6: Offida – Offida
We came here to win the race and it is not likely to win more than half a minute on the last timetrial.
So I told Froome that today there was no time for waiting anymore. And for once he listened and attacked a lot in the last part of the stage. Luckily he even managed to gain some time and with 15 seconds in the last TT everything is once again possible!
Stage 7: San Benedetto del Tronto (ITT)
The final TT was one big show of power from the team. At one point we even held a 1-2-3 with Pinotti, Cataldo and Fuglsang. All three finished inside the final top 10 of the stage.
More importantly was Froome. He had 15 seconds to Contador in the GC and put in a massive effort beating Alberto by exactly 15 seconds to win the stage as well as the GC!

In France we will be looking for stage wins and whatever may come along with it...
Thor Hushovd
Davide Rebellin
Rasmus Guldhammer
Matti Breschel
Przemyslaw Niemiec
Lasse Bøchman
Jack Bobridge
Christopher Juul-Jensen
Starting of with a short TT.
We had hoped for something good from Bobridge, but the young Australian only finished 22nd. But hey we have Hushovd. The big Norwegian pulled of a 5th place on the stage proving that he is in great shape and far from being over the hill!
We are here to grab our chances and Bøchman did so by getting in the first break of the day. Sadly they were not allowed to last and in the end it came down to a bunch sprint. Not exactly our specialty, but Thor managed to hide himself all the way to another top 10.
If you look carefully you can just see his shoulder next to the Motorex rider, but this is the best picture that was taken of him all day!
Not a lot to report from today really. For the second day in a row Lasse went in an early break and for the second day in a row the other team reeled him back in quicly.
I don't know what they have against him? Just let him have his time in the break. Anyway Sagan won the sprint while Thor for the first time didn't make it into top 10.
Well, what's there to say. Once again we failed to hit the break. Instead we had to hope for a good effort from Thor or Matti.
Hushovd did well to stay near the front before teh sprint, but apparently he forgot to sprint for it and didn't even get a top 10 today...
One of the most important stages of the whole race! We were hoping for some good stuff from either Breschel, Rebellin or Niemiec.
We missed the early break, but then Davide joined them along with Henao with 45 km to go. They did what they could, but the favourites were determined to take this one. Still Davide finished in the same group as a lot of the favourites and ahead of many others. A good 8th for our Italian veteran!
Another stage that could prove important for the GC, but apparently my guys never really realized that today was a race day and not just a training ride.
Matti is our best rider in the stage finishing 14th, while Davide maintains his spot in the top 10.
A tough day, but not one expected to have great significance on the GC.
No one even spotted eny of my riders today, but nothing of greater importance happened.
Przemyslaw Niemiec was our best rider on the day finishing 25th
Final day to settle the GC. Our absolute top priority today is to keep Rebellin inside the top 10.
Lasse Bøchman managed to get in todays break. Putting in a strong effort eh won the first three mountain top's putting him within reach of the mountain jersey. Sadly he couldn't keep it up for the last mountain though. Still he did really good to show of the jersey while Davide finished 7th securing his GC!

In deed good to know neither of us have missed any points
Chris did very well in T-A and it will be a disappointment if he doesn't win a GT this season! Loading the final standings after that last stage was really exiting
For P-N it's not all that bad. Hushovd has two top 10's in the first three stages, and we haven't really brough any top-captains for the GC so everything we can get will be appreciated
Looking forward to seeing the updated rankings as well

Having a clear deficit in pure sprinters we had to hope for a hard Tirreno eliminitaing guys like Greipel and Cavendish.
Philip Lavery is first to force the peloton to work. He sits in the break for a good while, but is caught before the desisive parts of the race.
Next time anyone sees a Tulip - Guinness rider is when Lloyd Mondory crash alongside JJ Haedo
Sadly that was also the last time anyone saw one of my guys. The race just didn't get hard enough and in the end it was a highly disappointing result for us.

After a lot of confusion regarding the race conditions we were forced to race the route twice before settling on a result. Luckily Thor and Alexander were both professional enough to finish inside the top 10 on both occasions.

Even though this is not one of the most important races of the season for us we decided to send a strong squad none the less.
We bring season debut to our Irish Captain Nicholas Roche as well as his young padowan Peter Neilly. The race organizers expect Dario Cataldo to do well too.
Nicholas Roche
Dario Cataldo
Marco Pinotti
Lasse Bøchman
Jack Bobridge
Alexander Kristoff
Lloyd Mondory
Peter Neilly
A clear sprinters stage, which makes Kristoff our main man. He wins the intermediate sprint going for the points jersey.
The team did well to set him up for the sprint, but in the end he started his sprint to early and only got a slightly disappointing 6th on the stage.
Although short this TT is very important in terms of the final GC - and not the day we can expect to win the race...
Never the less both Roche and the two Italians put in a strong effort. Roche finishes 14th losing 12 seconds, while Cataldo manages a 4th place 8 seconds slower than Zoltan.
Everything is still very open before the final mountain stage!
Final mountain stage and time ti decide the GC. Before the race we had expected Roche to be our main man today, but with Cataldo's strong TT we have two horses to bet on.
All in all a highly disappointing stage for us with no riders really showing themselves.
In the end Dario got a decent 5th place while Nicholas didn't manage a top 10 on either the stage or the GC...

We send a squad with no top favourite, but none the less hoping that especially Roche will be able to do something. A GC top 10 and some good stage results will be the goal. He didn't show much in Crit. International though so his form is questionable...
Nicholas Roche
Philip Deignan
Rasmus Guldhammer
Christopher Juul-Jensen
Jonas Aaen Jørgensen
Vegard Stake Laengen
Peter Neilly
Przemyslaw Niemiec
A good day for our sponsors. As soon as the TV coverage started Niemiec went in a break.
The break manage to last all the way as no team is willing to really chase hard to catch them. German veteran Klöden takes a grand win, while Przemyslaw gets a good 4th on the stage.
Probably the best day for the sprinters in the whole race, but the question is if enough teams want a bunch sprint...
In the end it does come down to a sprint where ING proves to ahve a very good sprint train. Jonas spotted that early on and found a good spot right behind Veenhof.
Of course he couldn't outsprint the fast Dutchman, but he was pulled to a great 3rd place none the less. Somehow Roche even managed to finish 4th without getting caught on one single photo.
A downhill finish, but nonetheless an important stage for the GC.
It's an actionpacked finish with lots of attacking. Nicholas looks sharp today and tags along with the two great descenders Sánchez and Sánchez two get a brilliant 3rd on the stage winning a lot of important time on the GC. Amazing ride by the Irishman!
A stage profile very similar to stage 3. Will it be just as good for us as the first three stages?
It turns out very similar to yesterday, but today Nicholas miss out when the front group breaks. Luckily he manage to close the gap and once again shows great form with a 4th on the stage keeping him inside the GC top 5.
Things are looking good this far for the team, but everything is still very close leaving room for advance in the GC as well as losing places. Luckily Roche seems to be very fit and detemined to avoid the latter!
Once again Jonas did well to hatch on to the ING train and put in a very decent finish for him. He is really doing a lot better in these sprints than I had expected from him.
At the same time Nicholas showed his perfect consistency in this race by squeezing in another top 10!
With this finish everything points to this being the deciding stage of the race, so I made sure everyone in the team was aware of the importance of today.
Right from the start Vegard Stake Laengen went in the break showing the jersey nicely and taking a bit of the pressure of Roche's shoulders.
On the final finish everything had been brought back together to be decided among the favourites with Nicholas right where he should be. In fact he was even strong enough to take the stage win ahead of Arroyo. Unfortunately Moreno still managed to hold on to the lead by as little as 18 seconds...
Final day of the race and the stage profile shouts bunch sprint all over the place...
And that is what happens. Unfortunately everything gets a bit chaotic in the last part of the stage and Jonas isn't able to catch a good wheel before the sprint leaving him with a 12th place on this final stage.
So all in all a very succesful race for us, though it would have been nice if Roche had been able to win a jersey in stead of finishing 2nd in all the competitions...

The team had a slow start to the day, but this kind of races usually aren't decided in the first 100 km anyway so that's ok.
At least Hushovd managed to stay in the right group, when things started getting rough.
It's no surprise that he is starting to get old and has trouble keeping up in the last bit, but I have to say that it is highly disappointing that Matti finished so far down. Good thing we convinced Thor to join us just as the transfer window was closing!
Also notice that our young talent von Triesenberg won the sprint in his group showing great fighting spirit!

A bit more action early on today as Mondory goes in the break.
To no surprise the big names reel the break in, but they get to stay out for quite along way, even passing the Kemmelberg in front.
For us the final bit is very similar to E3 as Thor finishes just outside top 10 and Breschel is completely gone.

This is obviously one of the biggest classics of the year and for a talented classics riders such as van Triesenberg it's good experience going in to the early break.
It doesn't last long though, but a nice effort none the less.
For once Hushovd fails to get in the front group when things split up. On the positive side of things Matti finally seems to have found some form bringing in a very nice 9th place!
The fact that only 78 riders finished just goes to show how hard teh race was.

We went to Pais Vasco hoping Nicholas could continue his good form from Catalunya.
It pretty fast became obvious that this would be a very different race as strong riders like Andy Schleck, and Contador were on the startline.
Nonethe less we have brought a team determined to go for the chance they have:
Nicholas Roche
Vegard Stake Laengen
Philip Deignan
Christopher Juul-Jensen
Davide Rebellin
Rasmus Guldhammer
Peter Neilly
Sergey Lagutin
Today is not really an important day for the GC riders, so the early break gets a good gap - and we have both Christopher Juul-Jensen and the Uzbek champion Sergey Lagutin in there. In spite of several attempt none of them are quite strong enough to win any of the intermediate sprints though.
In the end the break is caught just as they hit the goal line. Fortunately just in time to get to decide the stage between them, but without winning any time.
Brilliant to start the race with two guys in top 10!
A short attack from Davide Rebellin was the most anyone saw of us today. At least Roche didn't loose any time to the other GC-riders...
First mountain top finish of the race and thus a very important day for the GC.
Deignan does well to get in the break, while Roche gets a highly disappointing 16th losing almost 4 minutes to Andy Schleck. He really has to up his effort a bit here!
Another mountain top finish and time for Roche to show himself after yesterdays failure.
Yet no one managed to get a snapshot of any of my riders as Nicholas finishes 14 losing more valuable time...
A day for the break. To hard for sprinters and to easy for the GC-guys. That won't stop Roche from losing a little bit more time though.
I have to admit I'm starting to wonder if he has actually realized that this is a bike race and not a training camp...
Perhaps a TT is what is needed for the team to get going again?
It would have been quite easy for the photographers to have taken a picture of one of my riders today. They were just that slow...

I MADE MY DEBUT!!!!
Hello cycling fans from all around the world. This week I made my debut as a professional cyclist. The first rider from Liechtenstein to do so. I rode 4 races in Belgium, all classics. 3 of them were WT-races and 1 was a invitation race. There is no better way to start! My first race was Dwars Door Vlaanderen, the invitation race. I finished 75, easily in the peleton. A nice warm-up for the next 3 races: E3 Harelbeke, Gent-Wevelgem and a monumnent, the Ronde van Vlaanderen. In the E3, I had great legs. I tried to get into the break, but I was alone. So I dropped back into the peleton. I finished 54th though, which means I beat at least 50% of the other riders. I decided to take it easy in Gent-Wevelgem, where I finished 90th. The Ronde van Vlaanderen was a bit disappointing. I went into the break, but I used so much energy that I could not finish the race. Such a shame. My next race is in France, where I'll be riding in another monument: Paris-Roubaix!
See you next time
--Mathias von Triesenberg
