So what do people think of Rangers chances of beating Lyon? I'm not sure Iwant to see them going through, they'll just get humped out in the last 16 along with Celtic.

the recent history of Rangers in the champions league isn't great, I beleve they were in the same position a few years back but crumbled at home...deja u this evening perhaps? Pfft

I think they must go through, since Porto needs an easy team to beat in the next round Grin

I don't have a good read on schalke. how are they doing?

Porto have a pretty good team as long as injuries don't hit.

and if we get lucky and Quaresma kicks into gear we can dominate...if only that would happen...Rolling Eyes

I just keep agreeing more and more. Football has lost it's appeal to me. I'm tired of it the way it is. It's far too often that a team just parks eleven players in front of goal, does nothing but stay there and eventually wins.

And my friends wonder why I don't pay nearly as much attention to football as I do to three other sports

I can tell you a name of a team that plays like that...

I'll only give you a hint. It starts with a S, ends with a 4 and in the middle has Halke 0...

I warning everybody, next year a team is going to emerge from the Premeireship, and then the year after that will win the Champions League (Like it is going to do in UEFA Cup this year).

Who could it be?
