For this reason i've read that Lampre-Merida might loose lots of point, risking so World Tour license (https://www.spaziociclismo.it/?action=...izia=24054) |

They are 19th in sporting value without Scarponi, but I recall UCI confirmed their licence recently.
I have no idea whether they can revoke that, then Argos would benefit.

I'm fairly sure that they can revoke it. They're considering doing it for Astana because of the recent scandals around Vino.

I would be surprised if they revoked Lampre's license
While hardly massively points scoring, and full of ex-dopers, those related to dopers etc they would be better additions than the one dimensional Argos.
Cunego, Pettachi, Anacona, Malori, Pietropili and Ulissi i would rather see, than Kittel. Degenkolb and a load of Spoiler fucknuggets ... and Veelers

I see your point, but I don't fully agree.
In terms of strong riders, Lampre aren't that much ahead of Argos. Scarponi and Cunego are their only top tier riders, and next year they may not even have Scarponi available until after the Giro has started. Aside from them, they have three promising youngsters in Ulissi, Malori and Anacona.
Discount those, and the squad is basically the same as Argos without Kittel and Degenkolb. Petacchi is light years below his former level. Niemiec isn't really able to compete for a top 10 in a GT. The rest of the squad are domestique level. Argos' squad is basically the same strengthwise. At least in my opinion.

Yeah Lampre and Argos are similar in terms of ability, but i like lampre more. Argos are just too one dimensional
also its great to see Torckler back!

Seems you forgetting Pozzatto who's capable of winning a monument along other good results as shown this year.
They also have Cattaeno who's a very promising talent ( unlucky this year with injuries ) + Palini as well.
Plus add strong riders like Favilli, Serpa & Ferrari and they are stronger than Argos will be. However still not great team, but better than Argos at this moment in time.

That, I do agree with. I'd really miss their jersey if they changed it or if the team folded.
EDIT:
That's true, I forgot about some of their signings. Pozzato, Palini, Favilli and Ferrari are quality. I think Cattaneo is just a stagiaire though.

I would rather have a good team like Lampre then Argos as youre mentioning. Scarponi, Cunego, Ulissi, Palini, Ferrari, Favilli and Pozzato is miles aheads a team basically with only two great names like Kittel and Degenkolb. |

Shouldnt be too bad as long as none of the broken ribs puctured a lung. Doesnt sound like the hand/wrist is broken, probably twisted/bruised/cut badly.
And probably ensures the UK govement introduce pro-bike laws. |

Argos have got other interesting names in their team, Van Rensburg, Veelers, Dumoulin, Barguil, Preidler (these three talented for the future), and they can collect some results next season, but I share of the opinion that Lampre have better riders, right now. |
